Hi all, a friend of mine has just bought a MTA4 Thunder Tiger. The brushless set up motor is a goolrc 2650kv esc 80a. What is the biggest lipo it will take? TIA

Pretty bummed on thunder tiger 3/16 rims, i had set for awhile and never mounted them, so i put a brand new set of proline blockade tires on and two laps in this happen....

I think they both make a hard plastic rim which tends to be more brittle than nylon. I would think Thunder Tiger would make a little better product than that, but maybe it was just a fluke.

This might of already been answered, but oh well. I know that Thunder Tiger bought out Team Associated a while back. They sell the Phoenix Bx which looks exactly like a b3. So my question is, will the Bx rear wheels work on the associated buggies...

I have some. They are better than the Duratrax wheels for sure! They are not nylon, not sure what type of plastic they are!

I can't find a single website that will tell me what's different in the two buggies. I know there's an XB which is brushless, but that is not the one i'm talking about.

I found a Phoenix BX on ebay and Phoneix BX II. I wanted to see if the BX II...

Well the duratrax rims look good but they break apart easily. So I ordered some rims from thundertiger4u.com. Was also told via e-mail from thunder tiger that they are nylon and dyable.

I used the RC10GT wide inline axles and this seemed to take care of the offset issue with the TT/B4 fronts wheels but I'd really prefer to just have a proper offset wheel instead. One that is wide like the modern wheels. The only 2 direct fit 2.2...

This is my latest buy. Thunder Tiger Mirage 4WD. Have not worked on it a lot, still trying to find some parts to redo it. did clean it up some.

With all this time I got like everyone else I 'm working on little things on all my cars. Just put the yellow wheels on to make it look like the box it can in.

I am debating on picking up one of these RTR from TowerHobbies for $315. Its the 4wd model, 2.4ghz and brushless.

Does anyone have any experience with this model?

What about the Thunder Tiger Phoenix XT? Isn't it the same truck as the Associated RC10T? I should be able to sub Thunder parts with Associated if need be. I can get the 2wd 2.4ghz brushless for $239.
