Thunder Tiger BX i vs ii (RC10 B3?)

Post by toykilla »

My research has led me to the fact that the Associated B3 and T3 have taken new forms under the Thunder Tiger name brand (BX and ST). My question is what are all the differences between the Associated and Thunder Tiger versions, as well as what is different between the BX I and BX II ?

I

Well, they kind of are.. They are a Taiwanese company that bought out AE years ago.

It doesnt appear they sell them in kit form, only ready to run. After looking more, it looks like the only difference in the I and II versions are the electronics. the II comes with a more potent 17T motor. They are both run bushings but that is an easy fix. I am trying to get B3 rims and ran across these cars. I send them an email on how to get wheels and got a quick response pointing me to an american distributor. Hopefully I will have an answer soon.

Ace Hobby is their official US distributor, http://www.acehobby.com/ace/index.htm

$89 is way cheap for a NIB T3
