Naked Box Art Worlds Car Pic Needed
Can someone post a couple good naked pics of a 93/94 box art Worlds car so that I can see what I am missing? I have seen hoopty's collection pic, but the pic is too far away to pick up the details. Thanks in advance.

fyi, a couple things on the boxart are different than the kit. the boxart has the traditional front body mount method instead of the steering post location on the kit and insstructions, and the rear body carriers are white on the boxarts instead of black in the kit and instructions. steering cranks (on mine anyway) are white, but are black in both the boxart and instructions.
all that make any sense? lol.
ps. i just found a tekin speedstar 412p esc in one of my worlds boxes, were those any good?

i just pm'd ya the pics. but if you want to make a boxart replica wouldnt you rather have the boxart naked shot?
here it is. (click to make bigger)
imho the naked boxart pic is a fallacy!
on the naked boxart pic it shows the mentioned non-worlds front body mount location, yet in the boxart images with the body on there is no front body post visible. i would at least put the front body mount on the passenger side steering bellcrank, thats one of the things that makes a worlds car unique.

those pics i pm'd you are of a rig built from the kit and should have the correct colored plastic and springs and all that. at least that is what i was told when i bought it, and i have no reason to not believe the guy. it was the typical rc plane guy who built a rig and had no interest in it after the first run. i also bought another worlds car for parts to my tekin conversion and it was all the same so i'm like 99.9% sure.mrlexan wrote:Thank you sir. Soon you guys will see my want list so that I can complete my replica.
Do you have pics of the "correct" non-box art set up naked?
do you have the worlds instructions? if not i could tell ya what elecs they use in the assembly sectionand all that.

Hoopty, I did not receive any pics that were PMed to me???????
No I don't have a World's manual... any pics would be great.
I hear you on the too much time on the computer. I don't get home from work until 5:30-6:00 ish, then off to the gym or go running, come home eat, check ebay or list, then try to work in some builds..... the wife constantly complains about how much time I spend on the computer. I loved the holidays, spent most of my time down in the world famous basement, hence my posts on the completed builds.
