RPM truck arms for RC10, 7059 (R) & 7060 (F)

Post by Group B »

Has anyone heard of these? I ordered a set of regular RPM rear arms for my 10T, and instead I received RPM #7059, which say they are "Truck rear arms and hub carriers for RC10", but they're not as wide as the normal RPM rear arms for the 10T/GT.

Strangest thing is the rear arms say "Truck" on them, and the package includes a diagram for drilling new holes for attaching the rear turnbuckle in the rear bulkhead.

the 7060 front arms are wide arms to fit the standard car bulkhead. I think these were for truck conversions before the trucks were around. I have never seen the 7059 arms but suspect they are a similar idea. Does the instructions say anything about the dogbone? I would expect if they were wider than stock buggy arms that they would need a longer dogbone.

got pics of the rear arms?

The 7059 must be replacement arms from the 7095 truck conversion rear arm set. They were made to convert an RC10 buggy to a truck, before the 10T came out. The kit included different rear bearing carriers, too.

Sheldon's had some a while ago:

Are these "truck wide arms" the same width as the worlds/klein arms?
