Pro-X NIB
I stopped in this little so called hobby shop last week and to my suprise I found a Pro-X new in the box. Its been sitting their for years. I dont know anything about it so fill me in please. I am not sure I am going to keep it? its dated 1993 on the box and the paper work says 1994. Its the sport version, with some factory up grades. like another trans case and blue motor plate? and different ball ends, and washers added to the kit? I like the hard plastic wing. and the body is almost identical to the Losi xx?
wow why cant I find some Losi's like this

Re: Pro-X NIB
I told the wife I would sell it? that I would only buy it to resell? but then I looked at it, its a cool car! I paid full price for it but if the offer was good I would sell it.
how long has this kit been discontinued?? I looked on ebay their are no parts? is their another chassis that used this platform?

Re: Pro-X NIB
This is a neat car. It's been discontinued for a while now. Parts are impossible to come by. Looks like you got the Sport version which has a few less options than the Team version. I believe the only difference is bearings and ultimate shocks. It's possible there are a few minor other differences as my memory is a bit fuzzy. I think this car is very rare compared to Kyosho's other 2WD racers. I've never driven one, but I've heard they handle like crap. Maybe that's why it didn't sell well.

Re: Pro-X NIB
thanks for the info, it is the sport verson. I read through the manual all I saw was it needs some bearrings and turmbuckles, to make it a team car. maybe better shocks. and the outdrives are harden on the team car. either way its super nice. I am going to list it for sale if sells It sells. if not it wont bother me all. but it will be hard for me to leave in the box and not build lt. I am a Diehard Losi guy so haveing a Kyosho is like a toyota in general motors showroom?
Re: Pro-X NIB
I'd be interested in seeing what those two transmissions look like. My car came with two and one has a large square hole in the bottom that apparently was designed to seal against the chassis plate. The other one is fully enclosed. I'd like to know which is the one you're supposed to use?
