I found some of the extra parts that came with the car. The round indentations behind the Tekin is a dead giveaway.

Best things I see are the ESC and cover. Motors look beat.

Just arrived. Nicer than I even hoped. I'm chasing a childhood want that I never got then. Got a few others on the way to make runners out of. I'm scared to even take this one apart

I replaced the front gearbox. Same procedure as with the rear gearbox, A .5mm lexan shim around the bearing holds it nice and snug. Replaced the front underguard that was bent and deeply scratched. My TQ10 and a future project car both got some sweet painted bodies. I have no plans to be a Losi collector but I couldn't pass this JRX2 up.

I LOVE the idea of using the "not shelf quality" stuff to build a runner! The last time I had a bunch of spare Losi parts laying around I ended up doing a full resto-mod LXT. Excellent work sir.

Finally got around to putting a TBG lid on the ultima. Turned out ok. Had a lot of bleed around the pinstripes. Think the tape was pretty old and I was a little impatient. This is how she looks after rebuild. Still missing some white parts like the right front arm, right rear suspension mount, rear body mount and spur gear… I also deanodized and polished the stinger pipe because I didn’t care for the purple. Not sure if everyone is going to like it, but I sure do. 8) ...

Added quite a few more parts to the chassis.
Tie rod ends are new but most other pieces, except the hardware, is still original.
Waiting on front bumper support.
Undecided on wheel/tire combo.
