Beater RC12L build

Post by snellemin »

I finally put together my RC12L from parts stolen from other cars. It has a Hacker C40 6T motor that barely fits. It has a LT-200A ESC(overkill), cheapo Turnigy Lipo battery and a micro servo. I am looking for a cheapo 1/12 scale body to fit. It runs well inside my house as it's way too cold outside.

I finished up some more oldie pan cars. TRC Lynx and Composite Craft/rc12l hack job. Sad thing is, that the wife said to sell them.

I can't imagine how fast a pan car must be with lipo/brushless-- not to mention the need for a super-smooth place to run. Have any videos of it?

I don't have a vid of it running. There is an old vid of my 2 pan cars at running at Houston Motor Sport park. I'm in 1.06 minutes into the vid

You can also search my screen name in youtube to see the rest of my vids.

I never even considered brushless/lipo for my 12l. I can't imagine what that would be like!

They look very nice though. Don't listen to your wife. Unless you are going to sell them cheap, then let me know first. haha.
