Re: Sneak peek at my newest GT conversion
I believe Todd is talking about the New Era chassis brace/roll bar. It's no longer made, but they do show up on eBay from time to time.

The photobucket links must have been broken from moving files or something. I'll repost some pictures this weekend.

Re: need some info/help

I think the early first release flat chassis RTR trucks are on the shorter dimensions (I can't confirm 100% as I don't have one) while the RTR Plus was bas...

Re: need some info/help
I don't have the part number right now, but this is the one you need, the original one from the first gen GT. I can get the part number when i get home if you want. Or you can just trim down the one you have, it already has the holes for the shock mounts drilled in it anyway. http://i26.photobucket....

Re: need some info/help
There is also a guy on eBay selling painted crowd pleazer bodies that fit your truck. Look up the seller dsloomer and or search RC10GT body, It should be one of the top results. Don't search crowd pleazer, he doesn't list the name, I think because they are repops, but that's what they are.

Re: need some info/help
Yes, that's the original gt body being resold by tower. That's also for the early narrow shock tower setup. Also, after looking at the gt2 body again, it looks like you would need to do the shock tower swap to run that one too.

Re: need some info/help
No, that's the gt2 interceptor body. That body can work with some minor mods. This is the original. Was also available from associated in blue, and from proline unpainted. Unfortunately none of the original gt bodies are being made anymore (unless you count the tower hobbies ST15), and are not easy ...
