I'm still very new to RC cars/trucks and I am having a problem with my RC10t. I just tried putting in a new stock electric motor in my RC10t. (my first time attempting this) The problem is once I got it hooked up the truck will only go in reverse...

There should be a reversing switch on your transmitter, that will revers the signal for the throttle trigger.
what is a descent starting point for stock and 19t pinion and spur. it does have the stock trans
only asking is that the truck came with motor and battery and the bat gets about 175+ during a few min run

i currently race my rc-10t based oval truck with a stocker on a short 125 foot oval with a 19-90 pinion spur combination and my motors come off the track after 5 minn. at 95 to 100 degrees according to my temp gauge. i agree that the larger spur...
:D I bought a new 10T back in 1992 when I was in 10th grade. It saw a lot of abuse and useage over the years and it has followed me to 4 different states and was not in working order for a long time. I was still messing with that reostat speed...

Anybody remember the story why narrow tires on the Stadium type trucks didn't catch on? I have my own opinion on this, but I want to hear your's.
I just ran my 10-T with the narrow fronts on it, and it behaved so well. :D That was what the truck...

The RC10T came out with narrow front wheels as there weren't any racing rules at the time. Every other truck and truck conversion was using wide front wheels (and all the available tyres were for wide front wheels) so when they formulated rules for...
I'm relatively new to rc cars/trucks and I finally got my two RC10t bashers running after about a year. I was wondering if I need special pinions specific to the for the RC10t (stealth tranny) or will any do?
Thanks

ya, definately get more than one size pinion. the rc10t came stock with an 87 spur.
i just dug my 10t out of my parrents basement and figured i'd finally get it going.i never compleated building it after i originally bought it so it sat for the past 15 years or so almost compleated.

I bought my Son a T3 almost three years ago to replace his Tamiya Falcon. He needed something that was durable and was easier to find parts for. I originally set it up with a Novak XRS esc and a mild Kyosho 23turn modified motor. Top speed was...

Hi guys it's not exactly a vintage, not as beautifull as scollins project, but it's probably the fastest Sand scorcher in the world

Parma I think still makes that Scorcher body. I just got to NIB ones over the holidays, and they look better than the old Bolink ones. Someone on ebay sells them.
Hi , the first (and last?) rerelease from AE is not a 6010 or a Worldcar, but a T3 RTR ...
Distribued and manufactured by Thundertiger (Europe only), it has the same specs as the T3: stealth tranny, front and rear aluminium parts...but it has...

I don't mind the metric hardware, it's just the fact that the over-all quality of AE stuff is going down the tubes that bothers me. And it is going down the tubes.
Recently I bought a T3 for a runner. It's the ready to run kit and it doesn't have bearings so I plan to get some from Walawala. I just wanted to confirm that 12 3/16x3/8x1/8 and 2 3/8x5/8x5/32 will fully ball race the truck.

Avid bearings are very good for the price. I run them in my B4/T4 rear wheel hubs and have about 30 more, cuz if you race, you know that they are always the first to become overly gritty whether cleaned or not.
Here are some pics of my my latest paint jobs. These aren't vintage, but this is the readers rides section, I read, and these are my rides. I guess you could say the GT is an extremely modified vintage truck. :P
Does anyone have a writeup on the old A-Main Racing (AMR) trucks as run by Kinwald, Lett, etc, pre RC10GT? I'm thinking 1991... My LHS guru recalls a RCCA writeup on Kinwald's truck.
Got two VERY different AMR trucks, both pre-GT, the only thing...

First time ever in a forum so be gentle. First of all I am very new to RC vehicles and have recently purchased an RC10t off of the bay. However, I am having problems with the RC. I'm suspect of the ESC but I am not sure as I am a noob to all things...
