So in beginning my plan I am realizing that there are no tires.....lol should have read more threads. So as I understand... The sc10 front turnbuckles fit and just get a hex clamp for rear axles and then I cause modern wheel/tire combo?
I just got this DS (my first). I have a second parts car on the way as well. My plan is to build a Hill Climb car with open wheels, front a rear wing. Saw an example of one of a Facebook group and I had to follow.
When I say open wheel , I...

1/8 pan car racing has come back here in a BIG way in Toledo. I have tried to run my RC300 cars at the track with little
success. First i made adapters to use modern tires. The big spur gears that are required to run to get the proper ratio

I got these two RC10LC's into my possession. Both were driven in IFMAR 1996 On-Road Worlds (Revelation Raceway).

I've been trying to gather up information about these quite rare cars.
Please let me know if some of my datas...

OK, it´s a bit OT.
Just found again a pic from the 1996 worlds pits. Someone knows who´s the guy with white hairs in the background? I´m pretty sure I know his name but can´t remember currently.
I realize this is an old post but that has to be...
I have been sick as a dog the last few days and had some home time away from work while trying to get better! So I dug out the 3 RC12L's that I had got for free a few years ago, and now want to restore two queens and a runner! The two queens will be...

Been a long time since I worked on my 12's. Since the house fire, the 12's had been in storage with smoke, soot and rust damage, but now I have most of them restored. My RC12L glass car just got a nice set of Good Year decals for the tires and a...
My mate has this chassis and we need new wheels and tyres. After looking at pics etc I thought it was an RC12LW with bigger RC10L wheels. But not having anything physical to compare it to it could actually be an RC10. I have taken a bunch...

If you want to keep those big wheels on it for the skateparks those wheels and tires you posted up from rc4less will work as it sits now. You won't have to worry about scraping the bottom up on it much either
Here's my list of bodies I wish were still available. I didn't include any that are currently available from the great white north or the soon to be available ones from Sabula Tech. If anyone can help locate these, please don't keep it a secret....

Thanks fredswain. I emailed them and they said they don't have those specific molds. I will send an email to RJ Speed. Rick Jordan made a lot of those molds. He may be able to help. It's always possible that the molds were damaged, lost or...
When I ran 1/12 scale many years ago, our club would collect everyone's used up foam wheels/tires and send them off to TRC (or some such place). Each person had to strip off the old rubber and clean them. They would return ready to install and run....

Hey guys (and gals, if we have any)
Just a real quick question...what's the basic difference(s) between a 12l and a 12i?
Last post
Another way to see the various chassis plates through the life of the 12i. The left is the original with no springs for the suspension at the front and smaller cut outs for the rear suspension creating less rear flex, the second is the version that...

I'm pretty new to the pan car thing, so I was wondering if someone could ID who made this body, just for my curiosity. I haven't seen this one before - though that's no big surprise, since I'm a pan car...

Im new to the forum and i am an Associated RC10GT fan. I still have my first RC10GT so it comes as no surprise that I recently got into the RC10NDS as it was derived from the GT. I enjoy seeing the DS's on this forum and love the...

I've been interested in doing something different from 1:10 offroad buggies lately and had been eyeing pan cars on eBay the last several months, waiting for something good but cheap to pop up. I finally spotted a nice auction lot with carbon fiber...

Why has that body never been produced?? I'd love to have one.
Manufacturers are too busy producing 8 versions of Mustang and 6 flavors of Camaro and a dozen iterations of Corvette bodies to develop a Grand National body, evidently.
Well i finally took the Camaro out on the pavement. she is no longer relegated to the shelf. She performed well and i can say i didn't hold back.
I took a little footage

great pix. Thanx once again. I'm gonna have to hunt another one up for myself. Figured they would be around for awhile yet but then again...they were made for a vehicle that isn't around anymore
Hi, I'm just a newbie to this; I have an Associated RC12e that's incomplete. Is it possible to get a drawing of the weight saver radio plate? I've seen drawings for the standard radio plate but not the other type. Apologies if this has been asked...

Definitely will be wanting a set. I'll pm you later.
Does anyone know (or can anyone find out) if the mounting holes on the RC12LC, RC12L3 or RC12L4 are the same? The 12L3 uses a lot of the same parts as the 12LC but switched over to the 3-hole wheel mounts. The chassis cutouts are unique to the 12L3...

Okay, I was able to answer my own question. The holes in the chassis for all 3 models are identical except for the ones for the steering servo. On the 12l3 and 12l4, they are about 1/16 closer together than on the 12lc. So, a 12l3 chassis could be...
Hey so i got this RC12L online. I was wondering has anybody even see a RC12L chassis plate where the front end layer of fiber glass is thinner then the rest. Look like 1 layer has been removed? Did this ever exist as a factory version or is this...

Hmm....the edge look machine cut though it so perfect. Could it be they a layer was removed to allow the chassis to flex in the wrong ? I mean if it delaminated wonder would you need remove such a large area?
Made a deal with a friend of mine who had both these awesome cars just sitting for over 10 years that I had to have so I bought them to try and get a pan car class going again at the local track! One of them is brand new never seen the track and the...

I got these in lot with a 10L and my first 1/12 scale, a 12LC.

The RC500 2wd history is great, must of had some strong backing, these cars were a little pricey back in the day but who cares you were there. How old were you in 85, did you do all the wrenching on your RC500 yourself?

Do RC10DS KITS come with bearings or bushings - I know kits are far & few between, but some built sellers don't say which are in their rollers etc - just curious doug

Yes, GoMachV is correct, the DS qualifiers came with bushings.
Same goes with the nitro DS qualifiers....foam tires, plastic shocks, slipper eliminator, bushings, and dogbones.
I have a pair of RC12E cars that my dad raced from 1979 to 1981. They were modifed, tweaked and upgraded as he kept them competitive for the local race circuit. I'm in the process of cleaning them up after all of these years of storage and I'm...
