I second that! My local track seems to be mostly hairpins.

That's not bad at all! Here is where I have been running http://www.bluegrooverc.com . It's big and really fast, timing is everything as you have to scrub the jump faces or slow down before the jump or overshoot the landings and really crash big-

not a big fan of that kind of track.i say less timing jumps and more driving.. the best way i can describe the tracks id like to drive vintage rcs (or any rcs) on is if we look at atv race tracks.. id want to run my atvs on tt tracks not moto x tracks.. same goes for my rcs

My local track usually has at least one really tricky rhythm or a big air jump.

I am not in this race(can not find one with me), but here is one of their layouts.

The 5 pack was very difficult to clear.

This is a vid of a vintage race at our local track in the Netherlands

I know the race look rather random. but when €ric drove a sub 36 sec lap with his box stock Tamiya Wild One. The rest had to stop to applaud before the could continue

My car is also out there, driven by Johan Hooijmans. But I was behind the AMB that day myself.

The next vid is from our indoor championship. We have 3 races during the winter. We build the track on Saturday and race on Sunday.

The ARRC10 "Mutant" had a busy day, it was entered in the regular 2wd class, where it made it into the B-main driven by Johan (see vid) and Vintage class. Later I also "loaned it back" to use it myself for the 2nd and 3rd run of the 2wd A-main after my servo broke on my main car.

So it was a good thing that it was a busy day with 10 heats / mains. Otherwise I would have been impossible to keep the car race ready so often in this race

Thanks to Jasper for the vids

(Sorry the race commentary is in Dutch.)
