I just went through the Traxxas Forum, no Monster Buggy

. I was thinking of picking one up and doing a restoration. It runs and some spare parts. What is a reasonable price for a very used functional MB? And anyone have parts. I got rid of some parts about a year ago because I couldn't find one for sale. That is my luck (LOL).

Check out the Graupner Gepard for parts too - same car, should be find-able on ebay germany

I have 1 Mint condition Monster Buggy and 1 slightly used Buggy.....this car is a blast....runs all day long on gas from the pump...no tuning either!!!!! this is the original gas buggy before the HPI 5B..I wonder why they never really caught on like...

Haven't posted in a while. I traded a worn out Serpent for this worn out Monster Buggy a couple of years ago, been sitting in the closet ever since. No body, busted roll cage and a bag full of transmission parts and a carburetor.

Straightened the pins as best I could, along with one of the front shock shafts that was pretty bad too.

Here is my very nice, sorta, Monster buggy.

I cant recall when these came out late 80s early 90s? 1/6th scale, there was also an on road version, wish I had that.

Mine has not been ran much or bashed, i ran it once several tanks many years ago....

I remember a time people wanted to replace batteries and motors with nitro engines, now a trend is to replace nitro with modern electrics, which too...

I've thought about doing a fun basher monster truck in the style of the old kyosho nitro USA-1, where I use a 1/8 buggy platform as a base for a monster truck.

I didn't want it to look like some of the more modern monster truck bashers which use...

Anyone see a traxxas Nitro rim. They look like they might fit a 1/4 axle. And there 2.2 rims.

No i'm talking about the rear ones. They look like thay might fit the rear. And then you could put 2.2 rear tires on a RC10 with out having to do anything to it.

I have yet to do a step build and post, and after talking to James this weekend, I figured now would be the best time....

I got this car about 6 months ago. 90% of the car was there NIP with a few missing pieces. I had to source a diff which wasn't...

Compared to the TRX-3 the TCP came with ... Also it had both the white and black arms, front and rear, why I don't know. ...
