Almost there mounted the receiver and antenna just waiting on ESC.

Unfortunately I had to cut off the lower airdam that I left painted in white sat way to low, running it like this no way it would survive a track................ Cant wait to take her..

Waiting on some decals from MCI....................

Starting on the next build. A 10t style single piece carbon fiber frame build. Let’s see if I learned enough to make a more complicated piece.

Already it’s more complicated due to the shape of the tub.

It’s strong and light but not as pretty as I had hoped for.

I have to remember to make a better template for the rear bulkhead screws.
The holes I drilled were 1.7mm to tall.

I have my eye on a B stamp chassis for Rc10T build but have been looking at Rc Carbon Works chassis. Anyone ever built up truck on their 3mm carbon chassis? I want to build it with a buggy body so I am not sure the flat carbon chassis will work...

So after pulling out my old rc10t from 1991 I decided to rebuild that truck as a runner reusing a lot of the old parts. However I had already started grabbing parts for a rebuild so I decided to build a totally new truck!

I just had this done locally where I live and I think it looks great. Going to be a nice looking rig when its done.

Plenty of companies do the hydro dipping on RC bodies and it looks wild! They just mask the windows before dipping. The coating on hydro dipped chassis is a standard automotive clear coat. I suppose you could clear coat a couple of times for added...

Still need to build the shocks and install the electronics, and paint the body.

I might end up running this body:

Ignore the mess on the workbench, I'll tidy if up eventually lol

I know... if you've seen one you've seen them all. :wink:

I didn't stray too much from the manual. I did put a stack of spacers in the rear shocks, and I should have gone a little more. Installed bearings. I also drilled the lower set of shock...

She's been my buggy buddy since forever... :)

Ordered two Classics, one for me and one for her, on pre-sale announcement day.

Spent the summer wondering if we were going...

Here is my contribution to the re-release of the RC10. Nothing too fancy, but I am taking some liberties on this build as I want to also race the buggy in some vintage races.
