I am a fan of the Losi LRM transmission and the upgrades available for it..so this is a cool one. This MIP L-260 kit includes a different top gear and diff gear to change the original LRM ratio from 2.18 to 2.6

This kit gives you the XX/Retrofit trans options, where the buggies had a 2.19 ratio and the trucks had a 2.61 ratio..but still using the LRM gearbox.

Nice! I put one in my LXT back when I still raced it. And I think I have a backup kit I got years later.

Does anyone know the stock ratio of the JRXT, JR-T, or LXT ? I just bought an MIP 2.6:1 gear change off ebay. I remember about 15 years ago it was the thing to do.

How much is too much for the LRM gears, and how much do I need to be competitive? I have a slipper so I can control some of the power going to the gears, but I've been reading some horror stories about newer brushless systems melting older plastic...

I have run a JRXT basher with an all stock LRM and a Castle 5700KV sidewinder system and beat the living crap out of it. No slipper. (there is one on there now but there wasn't for a long long...

I'm in the process of building my NIB Losi Jr.2 and I was wondering if anyone knows (I'm sure someone does!) why the LRM centre diff gear has the rather random looking square holes for the diff balls? It's puzzled me for a long time - I used to have...

Never seen this before and have had a lots of them. Triangle center? I could see how it would create less friction yet still support at this common area for melting?

I think for an RC10 but holes on bottom don't appear so, all metal diff, pretty cool. Case has a crack where pointer is but it would still be functional. Could use some new bearings but it spins freely. MIP experts?

I have no idea, its been in a drawer and I think came with some car I bought way back. Actually will probably sell it as I have no interest in it.

Remind me again what size the bearing in the center is to buy in bulk. Goes in the center of the A3021 diff gear.

a-6904 thin bearing's

Is it 1/4 x 3/8 x 1/4?

I'm not at my parts bin and have another order going. I'm embarrassed this has...
