Thing is that only very modern RC cars have ever been designed with that in mind .
That would defeat the purpose unfortunately.
Yea I get it and totally approve :D

There's all kinds of things going on with that run! It zigs, it zags, there's extra flame puffs at the end! I was sure a 'concrete magnet' had been installed and that it was going to go head on into the base of that pole at full speed!

That was the final dual engine run for now...making changes...extending the wheelbase an inch (12" to 13")...going "F" single engine (which worked great the two times I ran them)...going with a new body, narrowing the front end to tuck it under the body...and lastly, moving the engine mount forward and inch to help push more from the front than the rear...if it all works...should run 88mph in 3.5 seconds....100mph is out of the question for now...thanks to everyone that is following this build

Turnbuckles on those side slats would make them trim tabs in the event that the car consistently pulls to one side or other.

I run it at a sports complex. There's usually no one around when I run it

Finally got to see a live run. The video doesn't do justice to how cool it is. First, it's damn loud! Lots of smoke and takes off like a bullet. Very smooth, and like most good things in my life a lot of fun in under 4 seconds.
