Yes Jasons right this is the "Team" model. As He said the works came with the purple chassis, pro shocks, c/fibre shock towers. Im currently building a new built works, pictures to follow shortly

Ok, I justed seemed to remember it being the other way round and me thinking it was strange the 'works' wasn't the top car.. I'll take your word for it though, as i'm going from memory!!

If there's just one thing both CATS and I know - it's vintage schumachers buggies. I own 3 Cougar2 WORKS buggies and they are by far the cream of the crop when it comes to the alloy pan cars.

Just scored this on eBay Germany for less than 50$. I put a low snipe on it and never thougth I would win the auction actually. I have way too many on going projects and absolutely no spare time to wrench these days, but still I'm happy to add it to...

Yup, something tells me it's really nice under that mud. It was probably run a few times, then the front end was slightly crashed and the part was never replaced. The surprise will be a first look at the underside of the pan. We'll see, but can't be...

Just got this cheap off the bay. Not sure if it will be stripped for spares or run it.

I wouldn’t really say mongrel 😂 it’s just what we did back in the day as Schumacher produced conversion kits that were way cheaper than buying a whole new kit.
The whole Ali pan series from top cat through were pretty much interchangeable parts wise...

So am I the only one in the US still waiting (since June 10) for the re-re Cougar? I see several US residents on FB have them, even those who didn't get one from the first batch.

On a side note, it is awfully quiet here in the Schumacher section....

I got this Cougar 2 works off ebay the other day, hope it will clean up nice.

On closer inspection one of the metal driveshafts has gone and one half of the ballraced steering too :cry:

Hopefully there is a clean chassis under there!

I picked up a rough Cougar a while ago and today i started restoring it.

I think it was originally a Topcat as it has the Topcat motor cover and it came with loads of spares including some of the topcat shock mounts/levers and short shocks....

As a guy who bought up Cougars from all over the world back in the day (I mean, early 2000s...), I have more than my fair share of Cougars and bodies - any pics or description of what yours was like?
