I really don't feel like reading the 13 pages, so where (What Stete) and when is it this year? My luck would be the coast that is falling in the ocean. We need something here in the Midwest. I hope that gathering in IL works out!

After Looking through the RC Car Action archives, I found:

Losi XX was released in late 1993
Losi XXT Raced by BK in August of 1994 @ Truck Nationals...Reviewed by RCCA in January 1995
Kyosho Pro X, released in 1994

Yayyyyy.... more options.....

Another 1994 Issue showed the Tamiya Chevy S10 Stadium Truck... So that would also be a possibilty....

I love them Scan Archives... 8)

1st Vonats -- anything older than December 1993, was a no no.

2nd Vonats -- anything after 1993, within reason, shady area.

2010 Vonats -- anything within 94 is a go....

Fixed it.
Seriously though, I think the goal of RCHR is to bring in racers. Erich's goal is to make this event as big as possible. Allowing flex in the rules, regardless of the cutoff date, makes both happen. 8)
The preceding contained opinions, beliefs and thoughts that all may not agree with. No offense was intended at any point. Carry on.

I'm going back in time for this year's race. Going with the entry class and monster truck class. They looked like a lot more fun, which is why I go to this event. I could care less about winning anything. I guess I don't understand why someone would want to be as non-vintage as possible at a vintage race. Maybe it's time to start thinking about a mid-school class where people can race obsolete cars that are not quite vintage.
