Did the blackfoot ever come with a red body instead of black?

So I just confirmed.. there is a guy selling an original blackfoot from the late 80s... red plastic shell right out of the box. (not red chassis... red body)

I have three blackfoots and one of them came with a body molded in red. I think it was from the super blackfoot?? I'm not terribly sure on that.

I know those ones are original blackfoots. That's all I have is original blackfoots. I think the red body was released on the first run of the super blackfoots if I remember right.

I have never ever seen a blackfoot molded in red plastic. Not to say that there weren't some one off show specials from back in the day but I never seen one come in a kit and nobody on tamiya club had a NIB kit with one.

Here's my blackfoot body that's molded in red. Guy had painted the bottom of the body black but it didn't all coat very well.

Scratches in the corner of the roof are still red underneath

Black overspray onto the rear portion of the fenderwell

I think the red you see on the bottom is just overspray is from the red on the outside.
