RichieRich's 30th Anniversary RC10 Classic Limited Release
Well, here it is. I've added bearings and the bellcrank steering. I'd like to add some vintage-looking turnbuckles. I painted it Pactra Firey Orange Metallic. It looks sorta boxart, but I wanted to make it stand out a little but still look vintage-y.

Are these the sizes you used, Joey? Do they fit in the stock ball cups? Oh, and I agree, the Protech is awesome.

Re: RichieRich's 30th Anniversary RC10 Classic Limited Relea
I built my car with CE length tie rods (so these may be too long, but have plenty of thread to cut them down). They were a little tight on the stock ball cups, I put a dot of stealth lube to help them along
Hobby People usually has these on the wall, you can go in with your current all-thread and measure up if needed.

Re: RichieRich's 30th Anniversary RC10 Classic Limited Relea
Thanks! It's funny, I really had the intention of only adding bearings. Then I saw the ball bearing steering and thought, "I need that". Then the turnbuckles were such a pain to build, then there's that fine adjustment once the car has all the electronics and it's nearly impossible to tune the threaded rod like you can with turnbuckles. So, let's see if I can stick only only adding the turnbuckles.

I'm guessing it was very unrealistic when compared to the SRB's and such. Solid front window, roll cage...Lonestar wrote:Nice car and nice shots.

wait, this almost sounds like the current complaints about the cab-forward shells
Looks really nice!

I just added the Lunsford retro turnbuckle set. Very nice. I think I'm done with mods. Now to focus on getting some electronics installed.

Can you add some pics in sunlight or different lighting? Looks very nice but would like to see some more angles.
