The Green Powdercoated RC10

Post by hudson hornet ! »

I just picked this car up from one of my buddies that I race with. He is not into vintage and has had this for a while, although I believe he bought it like this. What do you guys think? Also can you tell me who made the aluminum wheels for the car? Also the front tires say trinity but I am unaware of the type. Any help there?

Also, what vintage is this chassis? The car is 100% new, never run.

You have got quite the car there my friend. I don't know about the rims (there are many people on here that do) but that neon green chassis is pretty darn rare. Great find!!
Almost all my posts will be edited because I know what I want to write, but my fingers always hit the wrong keys.

Yeah I like it alot lol! Until recently I did not know about the powdercoated chassis until my friend showed me this. I need to do an appropriate body for it though! Kermit green maybe?

Not really sold on the wheels but I will give it time. My buddy and I race carpet oval and he traded me this and a nib rc10ls for a dirt oval car. ( hyperdrive havoc 3.0 with all the goodies).

I think that car was on ebay last year?
Wheels look to be custom one offs that I would melt down or recycle, but I bet there are a bunch of guys that would love to have them.
Chassis could use wide front arms to be "more" period correct.
Nice platform :!:

Yeah I think you are right, I believe he bought it around a year ago. Probably is the same one. He is kind of known for buying a bunch of stuff he doesn't need, but don't we all! LOL! Now he decided he needed my car so this is what I got for it. I do know the chassis is a "B" stamp, but the powdercoating has it almost filled in. It is really bright!

Nice avatar by the way, where can I find other pics of yours?

Did it come from someone here? I do believe he bought it off of Ebay a while ago. When I first got access to the B/S/T he asked if I would list it and take care of shipping etc ( he is computer challenged), but it never sold. Of course his ridiculous price may have had something to do with it.

Anyways I am glad I was able to trade him. Although my dirt oval car was pretty and it is a current class I run, I did not want to lose the chance for this car.

Maybe I should start gathering black parts.....

Yup, and I can't remember who. I am sure it will surface soon enough.

It would be cool to find out who originally built it. I would love to find out some history on this one.

Flip did a green/gold car but that's not it- I think that Raliey72 may have sold this if I remember correctly, but it doesn't seem like his style of builds-

I couldn't guess who built it, but they did a great job. Love the Batarang wheels! If you could somehow fabricate some screaming bat heads for lock nuts it would be even more awesome! 8)

Anyone have an ID for the wheels? I was thinking Technacraft but I have never seen this design before.
