RC10 graphite resto.

These are some pics. of my graphite resto project. It is not 100% correct yet . Still need a few items. I can't take credit for the paint . The body was painted by racer8838.When I got the chassis it had alot of holes drilled in the chassis . I used JB weld to fill the holes . I don't think it turned out to bad . It has losi steering and a kimbrough servo saver . The speed control is duratrax with a tamiya dirt tuned motor. I just picked up a reedy outlaw motor and a lepord esc for it .

That's a super nice ride and the body looks totally sweet.

Experience is that marvelous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

While I was waiting for the TBG TQ10 body to make its way through the USPS black hole, I decided to slap together a Graphite basket case that has been warming the shelf for a number of years.

I decided to be a little less strict on my OEM only...

I picked this up on eBay a while ago, I was the only one to bid on it and I got it for pretty cheap. The chassis is pretty nice, but not perfect. My plan here is simple, clean it up and shelf it. Or I may unload it, I'm not much of a shelf queen...

Figured I put together the RC10 graphite I have had stashed for a good while now.

Speed and torque wise, they're just better suited to on road racing..... As far as I remember reading.

traded some clod parts for this car. had mix matched junk rims and tires, Novack esc, futava servo, trans got sand in it.
the green rims with sand tires i put on i got with the other rc10 goldpan i got for $50.

this one too is awaitaing a resto....

i had probably spent 3 hrs total bulding up and tearing down this car. i stripped this graphite car for the parts to build up another car.i dont know if i like the final product of the car that was built from these parts.heres some pics of the car...

I just restored a six gear RC10 Graphite,it turned out nice,but there's a few scuffs on the underside of the chassis I'd like to get rid of.
I heard about someone using some sort of epoxy to coat the bottom and it looked new-anyone know anything...

well Durafix and aluminum rod were a huge epic failure. stuff just didnt flow and didnt stick well.. i tryed a aluminum braze rod with flux also and that was a failure too, i knew when the welding supply place said i needed a oxy-acetylene torch to...

Just recently started to restore this full original Graphite Team car.
Was completely original with every nut/bolt/washer.
Waiting on a few bits now to continue.

I recently decided to re-build an RC-10 to what I once used to own.
What I had though wasn't a simple gold pan but a fully tricked out graphite (D&D) chassis, A&L arms rear, Andy's front, graphite towers, MIP gearbox (pre-stealth), fully polished...

Remaining unseen from my wife. As long as its unseen she forgets I have a collection. That is at least until we find a house to move into. Not very much space in a 700sq ft apt.
