This is my 2016 Chris Van Air rc10t reproduction. This is based off the rc10t that won a nonvintage race in 2016 at Hot Rod Hobbies. Chris was kind enough to help me nail all the details and Jeremy from ‘off the grid ‘ rc paint made me an exact copy of the design he did for Chris.

Here is the original story on the truck and the race.

My build thread is here, but I haven’t updated it in a while.

The thread is long and basically I did everything on the car at least twice as I got it closer and closer to a clone from a tribute.

Did those come with the drag-link steering? Or did you make it?

I know my California Sport Truck has conventional steering and some of the other Parma cars had front mounted steering.

It is the front mounted steering on the chassis, the pic will help.

Interesting lead group in the votes, 3 very different contenders. One of them got my vote.

I voted for the 33' Ford because you don't see the Parma Good Times cars often. Also, a Parma California Sport Truck (similar chassis) was my second hobby grade car.

I really like the Coupe, but I urge folks to check out the build thread on that Schuey before voting. There is a lot more there than meets the eye. :D
