Yeah. I want to go up in teeth and then turn up the punch and timing. Currently the ESC and motor are set to zero punch and timing so there's a lot more power still in there, but it'd be bad on the gear boxes to do it with the gearing the way it is...

Yep, You can run just one battery with the EVX-2 ESC. I use a pig tail on the none BEC side and plug the battery into the other connector. I have ran two batteries on this set up in my other Clod, but the motors get super hot. Two 2S lipos are just...

Got the truck running, took it for a test drive and broke a couple things. Nothing big. The truck with 5.5s is super quick, pulling wheelies. This will be a fun truck to drive around the house.

i built a super clod exactly like the box art. it looked nice but i like this clod so much that i am gonna copy it. just got a old clod today!

The rear motor is reverse rotation.
If the motors have adjustable timing rotate the endbell 180 deg for the rear motor.
If the motors are at zero deg you can just reverse the polarity.

I usually run 17T or 19T motors, just depends how fast you want...

i'm surprised nobody has mentioned the obvious bullhead inspiration.

I know this is an old thread but incase anyone was wondering, yes the USA-1 tires fit the clod rims. I have pictures if anyone is interested.
