As the chassis is designed to flex with the folded sides being used to stiffen it, you could look at 3d printing the chassis in a suitable plastic.

I've already considered this option, but it not ambitious enough considering what I've done...

I haven’t fitted the attack angle kit yet. I was too excited about sourcing the original shell and getting the stickers right on that. It is on my list of things to do though!

I must admit I got mine direct from Mantua Models, they have been selling old stock on Facebook.

Got some 1” clear heat shrink tubing and separated a nice looking vintage 1200SC stick battery pack to make the Coyote nunchaku style pack.

I just saw a brochure on EBay. They offered a 4wd, 2wd rear, and a 2wd front configuration on the Coyote chassis.

I will cut the inside bead off the front wheels and then fit 4WD fronts so they are a little narrower. I used to do that to make 22mm rims out of 26mm touring car rims years ago and provided you glued the tyre on...

For the coyote, ball bearing everywhere, balls in arms must be free, the spring are so hard and the arms make the suspension,
the plastic gear are breakable, used steel gear from option or TAG Pro 10 but hard to find, I see to mount the B44 gearing...

I remember seeing this SG car in action, it was beaten up by optimas quite a bit. Next thing I saw a few of them in second hand shops... :wink: Just not a stable car like the Kyosho in the 80s.

I would like to thank Marui Hunter for finding the car I was trying to remember. It was an SG Gemini Slx. Looks almost identical to the Schumacher. There is one on ebay that ends in a few hours if anyone is interested.

this buggy actually has metal gears in the rear gearbox, and was suprised once i cleaned it theres not much wear on the gearbox gears at all they cleaned up real nice.heres a pic of the the parts before i cleaned them , the plastic gear is the spur...
