Re: i Get snake feet and visceral
they both had these cheap connectors from the box.
But I think Kysoho usually had yellow copper ones, and the wire colors were white and red.
Tamiya had yellow and green wires with the grey connectors pictured.
Eitherway: both are guaranteed to give you heating rubber insulation after a while and are a disgrace on this beatiful creature

Re: i Get snake feet and visceral
True, a better option is to replace the connectors with gold-plated 3.5mm bullets, especially if you're planning to run a modern battery & ESC. Those tiny-gauge stock Mabuchi 540 wires (yellow & green) and Tamiya bullets won't stand up. What I actually did was upgrade the connectors on my cars to 3.5mm bullets and removed the clear silicone boots from the Tamiya connectors and used them with the new gold bullets. Best of both worlds!

Re: i Get snake feet and visceral
Looking good.
I must admit I'm not so familiar with the original car. Are you building this as designed? Or is it your own design?
It looks like you'll need a very compact steering setup: like the sliders from Kustom Works.

Hi, Saga101, great build!
Could you tell me the diameter of the sprocket there, that comes out of the gearbox and drives the front gearbox via chain? also how many teeth are there?
I am working on a kyosho Datsun project where I am working on a custom gearbox borrowed from the assault, just want to know if this sprocket will fit before I buy it on ebay! The seller is not responding
thanks!
