Re: MRP, what did they make?
Cool thread...was always a fan of MRP stuff. They had tough bodies. Their ABS boats sold much better than there cars...

That pro 10 is sweet.
I'm sure it has a shape shifting tranny. Rear or mid motor mount.
Nice.

Re: MRP, what did they make?
Someone knows what 1/12th cars were made by MRP beside the GP12 ? http://www.rc-car-museum.de/1_12_Modelle_aus_aller_Welt/MRP_GP_12/mrp_gp_12.html
I have seen a car what may be a MRP 1/12th as there was a MRP servosaver used but it had aluminium podplates and did look different to the GP12.

Hey Lowgear! Do you have any further info on the Indy car bodied GP-10? I have one coming off the 'bay and had started looking for an upper deck....until I saw your post mine is also looking like shocks are missing as well as front shock mounts, unless I can verify they were not used. I did find the springs for the front arms in a kit and got them coming in case the shock was not used.Lowgear wrote:Chevron Indy Car. Basically a GP-10 with no upper deck.

Re: MRP, what did they make?
The GP-10 used a monoshock but there were two versions of front springs. The version as with your spring kit and the single spring at the mono shock. The single spring version and monoshock could be seen at my car http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=27555&hilit=MRP
I think the version with two front springs will work better, if I can find a spring kit I would change for this at my GP-10 car. Maybe there are other springs also matching the original springs.

Re: MRP, what did they make?
I found the spring kit I posted on eBay and there is one more left item 271122346016
I assume the rear of the indy still had a mono shock? Mine is missing per the pic

Re: MRP, what did they make?
I didn't have mine for very long as I bought it to flip. There was a seller on eBay selling a bunch of them still in the original boxes for really cheap. They were being sold as new but after receiving mine it looked like it had maybe been run lightly a couple of times or just had a rough life in the box. I didn't expect it to be so basic of a design since MRP wasn't known for that. I remember there also being a red bodied one that had different livery.

Re: MRP, what did they make?
I have posted these elsewhere but should probably link on this thread too.
