Marui "Hunter"
HI!... I picked this Marui "Hunter" off of Ebay for $40. Seems in really good condition. Front bumper has a few scratches on it but that's about it. I will be basically tearing it down, cleaning it and putting it back together. I've already ordered a new body, decals and headlights for it. Should be a nice addition to my shelf queen collection.

Good find Neal! That's a stellar price even after all the stuff u had to order. Looks like it will clean up well, just be careful what you clean with it's not an RC10. I'd stick with mild soap and water personally!
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: Marui "Hunter"
HI!... Ya that's all I usually clean with, just soap & water. The new body, decals and headlights were less than $100. So I'll have less than $150(Can) invested.

Great find! That looks much better than the one I got a few years back. It took me quite a bit of work to clean it up, and a couple of generous members helped me find the tires, wheels, body and decals. Post pics when you get it cleaned up, or better yet, post pics while you restore it!

Cool car! That's some crazy looking suspension on there. Does the rear have some sort of anti roll bar to give it some roll stiffness?

Re: Marui "Hunter"
That looks great! The Hunter was my first car - of course as I was something like 12, it only looked that good for about half an hour before I started breaking things... I've been off and on restoring one for a few years, but my goal was to restore it roughly to the short period where I was actually trying to race it and had made a bunch of modifications. Won't be exact, as everything I used was cast off from somebody else's old junkers, and in some cases, I never knew what it originally came from.
Are you going to paint it up, or leave the body clear?
