Well, I certainly wouldn't expect anyone to run a TopCat............

Re: Topcat re-re
I finally broke down and bought one. My first Topcat ever was in 1989 (or 1990) given to me directly by Cecil whose booth at the Chicago Hobby show was next to the booth I was working for local hobby shop. Dumb luck for a kid and thanks Cecil. I was the only one I ever saw at the track around here. Now when can we get the Cougar and Cougar II?

Re: Topcat re-re
I purchased a re-re Top Cat from Mike96 (Thanks Mike!). I decided to build a little ahead of my birthday. Fun build with the exception of two areas: 1) Shock retainer clips - took some hand strength to work these in. I imagine a small retainer clip pliers would help, but don’t have anything that small. 2) Wing o-rings are cool idea, but I almost gave up on them. Patience, bright light, hand eye coordination, and blind faith were required. I can’t imagine dealing with these in the pits during a race event. Very happy with the end result. Paint work Sometime in the future.
