Hard to tell with the odd placement of the ruler. On top of that, I've never actually seen a 1/8 scale pan car (was never popular here, slot cars were "the thing" then).

Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Hi all,

I have been lucky enough to acquire a Dead Pool RC10 project car that is mostly complete. I want to finish it off with all the right bits to bring it as close as possible to the original car documented to a certain degree at the links below...

I think I am going to build my NIB ds kit. What body was used for the dead pool car? Bolink maybee?

Looking at the BL2254 body.
Also whats up with the A&E site . Can't seem to find the car for referance.

Just out of curiosity. The pictures of the actual car . Why are there no scratches on it? That car should be pretty beaten on the bottom.

While browsing Car racing and Rally footage, I came accross this nice clip from the DEAD POOL with Clint Eastwood and the famous Corvette RC10 chase.

Love the Electric Gas car.
*Note the kid at the beginning Also has an RC10 buggy.*

A lot of you must already know this, but I recently found a site that has the original Vette from the movie, and it says the Vette was most likely an RC10 DS, and was driven by Jammin' Jay Halsey!

I forgot the cutouts in the chassis sidewalls to let me use the short wheelbase position, but some minor trimming took care of that. Now the wheelbase is a good match for the body. With the wide 7222 front axles installed, so is the front track...
