Alex B's Yokomo WCS 93 build thread (January 2016 update)
After being inspired by both Dan's and Reggie's brilliant WCS builds I have decided to attempt another WCS. Over the last 3 years I managed to collect most of the parts needed for this build, and with Dan's hard work on the chassis it has now become possible.
Here is a teaser pic, I'll will be updating this thread in the following weeks/months with my progress or lack of, if that is the case .

Nice drool-worthy selection of parts you have there... there's a few I spy that you won't need - indeed I think that steering link is not quite the right shape for this car, also the WCS came with different magnesium wheel hubs (but once the wheels are fitted you'd never notice )

The link is a works 93 it's in the pics as it came with the long kingpins and bearings which I will need to complete. I can't find them at the moment . As for the hubs, your right I'm not expecting to ever get the correct ones.DerbyDan wrote:Nice drool-worthy selection of parts you have there... there's a few I spy that you won't need - indeed I think that steering link is not quite the right shape for this car, also the WCS came with different magnesium wheel hubs (but once the wheels are fitted you'd never notice )

Re: Alex B's Yokomo WCS 93 build thread
Got a quote to machine my bulkhead down, for too expensive for the amount of work IMHO. I had to go down my parents today, so I thought I would take advantage of Alex Seniors far better selection of cutting tools.
I cut the majority of the suspension and shock mounts from the bulkhead with a chop saw then finished it off with a Dremel. I was a bid nervous! Fortunately I still have all my fingers and thumbs!
