Build it and while you are at it start a build thread with photos.
By the time you are finished you'll have BST access and you can start talking about offers.

I used to run a zerda. It might have been the fastest 4wd with a stock 540 motor I ever ran! If the rockin vega is as efficient and fast as a zerda,, then I say BUILD IT! See how quiet and fast a hirobo can be! Theyre fun!
I say build it even if its just a shelfer. In my eyes the only unbuilt I will have is the one waiting for me too finih a different project before I started the boxed one.
build it...or ebay it. Either way its yours to not try to sell here .
In the end its all up to you but for me if I'm gonna build something to put on a shelf it means I already have a couple I'm running first and just can't run more than what I have on me at a time. The shelf will get run sooner or later though

Anyway, The car I have and would like identified is 4WD with the moter behind the wheels. It has a 2 part metal lower chassis and the battery runs lengthwise.

That's some of the parts I was missing indeed, but the original carriers only use one bearing: not my favourite concept ;)
I'm just going to have fun and see what I can make out of this without putting much money in it for now.
(Though I have to...

You can successfully dye nylon a darker color, but I'm not sure you can dye ABS plastic...I'm pretty sure the roll-cage isn't nylon. Here's the thing: nylon can actually be strengthened by the boiling water in the dyeing process. That's good. ABS...
I picked this up locally because it sat on craigslist for a couple of weeks. I just thought it was kind of an oddball car. What can you guys tell me about it?

The Tomcat was an entry-level hobby-grade car, it came already assembled and RTR, and had some decent features for an entry-level car like oil-filled shocks, the suspension was at least better than it's competitors at that level, the Grasshopper &...
Hi guys. Yesterday I took my Zerda down to the famous St Ives race trak along with a couple of other buggies for some fun.
Its great having one of these cars again and I like evrything about it. With a 19 turn Komodo Dragon bolted in and a 5000 lipo...

That's looking good!
Now, make sure you paint the driver well in time: you don't want to have it rivaling the last-minute paintjob Jason did on his ;)
Pretty much a new build.
I had a lot of parts gathered up over a few years.
missing the driver (although I 'think' I could use a Kyosho or indeed AE one) and missing 1 cross piece for the cage.
my story with this car was that I went to a...

With one of the test parts I did sanding with 500 grit sandpaper and then light brush with Acetone. Acetone will soften and bind the plastic layers together. It will also put a shine on the plastic. Don't use too much Acetone or it will soften the...

@ threesheds , I used the data provided to derive something... I'm not sure how close it is from the reality, I'll have to wait I have a real tire in hand to check how much need to be reviewed...
