RC10T runner!

Post by Daddeo »

I have been working on this one off-and-on for the past month or so. It has started making some progress as of late most notably, the power plant  . To keep up with it better just click here RC10T project.

Now for some pictures :D.

I hope the original stealth tranny can handle this much power

I have rebuilt the stealth and everything is in tip-top shape so it should fare well. I'm sure that it can handle it as long as I don't dog on it.

I agree about them being the "next thing". That paint job looks great, it's alot better than mine (I haven't painted mine yet :D). I have to work today and tomorrow so action pics and video won't happen until sometime late Saturday or early Sunday. I will be sure to get them though.

i agree. i doubt they will get on the same collective level as the buggies, but they are very much under the radar at this point.

Well, I took the ol' 10T out for some bashing fun today at our property down in Medart. Within the first fifteen minutes this is what happened:

Brand new set of original CVD's and now one is no good! I guess that's what happens when you put the power of a MM 7700 system thru them :D.

scr8p- Lost it temporarily, I found it (don't know how!) about 20 feet away from the truck.

badhoopty- It looks like it but it's not. The spring is weak, I need to put a new one on.

Get some MIP CVD's for that thing! That upgrade should be at the top of your list.

If those universal shafts are anything like the ones that came on the rc10 graphite then they are weak as hell and are soooo easy to bend if the dogbone end comes out of the outdrive. I think they actually made a dogbone straightener tool years ago!!! You'll bend that back no prob its easy...but getting it perfectly straight again might take a few tries.
