Re: Ebay Dhawk all aluminum components
I have three sets of the parts. They're pretty nice parts but have a few caveats. The rear arms and mounts need a little finessing to get them working smoothly. The front steering linkage are metric so the screws really don’t work with the chassis. I had issues fitting an outer bearing in the 6 gear...

Re: Shodog's HPI RS4 original
Thanks for that. Also another question, first time I’ve seen the double spur gear setup how does that work? Each spur gear has its own one way bearing. At first the larger gear is driving the gearbox. The one way bearing in the smaller spur gear allows both gears to spin at the same speed. As it re...

Re: Body cut out and Paint Help please
I stopped using scissors a long time ago. I score it with a hobby knife then bend and snap.
I use an angled dremel bit to enlarge the body mount hole

Re: It's starting now (Apr2020)... CWF (tub) and Shiny RC10
This is shaping up to be a sweet build. Those Rogue gear cases are nothing short of perfection. I have a couple of other aluminum gear cases and the are heads above the rest. I’ve been lucky enough to get three of them. What are your plans for the rear brace? The motor plate looks beautiful but ther...

They haven’t been released yet. This wheel project has been daunting for Chris at Rogue. They should be ready soon

Re: Shodog's 10L project
I couldn’t locate a Porsche 962 body that fits this chassis. The 962 I did find is 200mm and will work better on a Tamiya F103 GT chassis. Luckily I was able to get a couple of bodies in the size I needed from Andy’s. A Mercedes sauber body. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/Andys%20b...

Updating this thread to show some of the changes I’ve made. I wasn’t satisfied with the renegade body. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/RC10%20Tube%20Chassis/FFC81B9C-EB7B-4942-BACB-0A892C371ECD_zpsk7ivq2cf.jpg I wish it sat lower like the Protech body does. http://i247.photobucket.c...

6 years for an update. Why did you ditch the Race Master bearing adapters in the tranny? I stole those to use on my sprint car with a Rogue Elements gear case http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/RC10%20Ascot%20Sprint%20Car/12924015-11CF-4E77-95B4-E184C3E87D2B_zpsv0gkcyl6.jpg

You need to get Cracking on it. I’d save putting in the ball diff for later. I think they are more fun with the spool.

Looks like the same style of a Tecnacraft advertisement. That JRX buggy has a set of Tecnacraft wheels on it.

Re: Shodog’s ’93 Worlds buggy
I felt like there was too many Renegade bodies in my RC10 collection so when this Andy’s custom painted mirage popped up and jumped on it. I don’t know if this buggy will ever be a runner as I like it too much now. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/RC10%20Worlds/9545E65C-D5A0-4808-92A...

Re: Shodog’s 6010 buggy
12 years later I finally do something with this chassis. I changed out one of the front shock bodies and a few incorrect screws. Installed a set of Tecnacraft wheels along with an Andy’s painted Protech and Thorp wing http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/RC10%206010/91DDE452-34AC-4A48-B9...
