The entry in Build of the Month has striked my interest on a new build...using some vintage Bolink/and RJ Speed parts I am going to build a rocket car that will look authentic, be purely ran by the rocket engine/engines....and hopefully run 100mph...
Noticed not to many bolinks on here lol on the rc10talk. Thought I would share one I recently built from a new kit. Tried to use period correct for most.
Picked up a Bolink Round Tracker a little while back just to add to the pan car collection. I picked the car up mainly because many of the nylon pieces are engraved with minicars which I believe was a Swedish brand bought out by Bolink, but the fact...
Here's a question for you.
I have a Bolink LTO XL and there's no manual in it. I do not know if the manual got lost over the years or if Bolink even offered a manual for it.
Anyone know if there were a manual for this kit?
I striped the Differential shaft on my bolink pan car. I bought a RJ speed one that looked like it would work but its to short, I cant tell if the little dots in the picture are allen screws so the round part could be moved. Is there any place that...
I've never had a Pan Car but I'm sort of curious and after a little advice from a few of you guys in my Pan curious thread I settled on some (forgotten to me ) middle ground in the form of the Bolink Digger , the Digger was basically a 1/10 Pan car...

I found reasons for some of the rear traction/stability issues , firstly the rear pod bulkheads had cracked around the bearing seats for the rear axle leaving the axle unstable , also the grommets used for the lateral pivot of the rear pod were not...
My Invader MT was looking pretty sad. It wasn't that it was heavily used, but the previous owner converted it to a pan car by trimming the axle and pod down and undoing all the mt stuff. I had a Invader Dirt Oval that was a new built that gave its...

Since everyone is digging up old threads I thought I'd dig this one up
That little intermediate gear reduction is quite interesting, talk about gear ratio adjustability. Looks like a hinge/king pin as well. I wonder how well that set up will...
Finally got around to start building this fresh out of the box Bolink invader , quite a unusual chassis that I’m used to but it feels solid and great suspension travel .
Lots left to do but loving it so far

Very cool!!! I still have my old 91 Eliminator Sport…one of my favorite cars that isn’t an Associated.
Camino sport 2000
Not touched it , in its 30+ yrs raw form
The body will need some tlc as the OG owner must have pre cut the shell with an old dog bone !
There is a new Facebook page created and it sounds like Bolink is coming back. I believe some of the body molds went to RJ Speed and RC Car Kings, and the Legends platforms went to RJ, but it sounds like the trademark has a new owner. This will be...

This reminds of when DPI tried to come back. One guy got the molds and started it up, then it never went anywhere.
Any one got links to kits for sale?
RJ Speed kits look to be available at Amain & Tower:
We, me and the diamond one have a new appreciation for the Bolink Invader line, including the MT. Nothing to show cause we dont have one. Maybe someone will have one to show.

I've got one with the rear suspension and I think Jeff has a couple.
Have the Eliminator fully assembled and now thinking ‘tronics. More from the motor / battery aspect as I have a Spektrum DX5C so I’m just going to get a receiver. I was wondering if anyone has gone brushless/LiPo on one of these models. My concern...

In situations like this I would buy an ESC that has lots of options for tuning, are you going to run foam or rubber tires?
I can go from popping wheelies at the hit to silky smooth launches with a couple of clicks also I can turn the heat up mid...
Just received a Bolink Challenger, or at least I think it’s a Challenger. When I go online and run a search, I don’t see this particular chassis. It has the beige bottom pan and an orange top pan. It’s a 1/12 scale and still has the original msc....

Thank you, I checked and confirmed it’s a Challenger. I’ve tried to find a manual for it, but with a monumental lack of success. I can see getting parts for it is going to be a challenge. Rather poetic actually lol.
Aside from my Bolink Challenger that arrived a few days ago, my vintage Bolink Eliminator showed up. If I can scrounge the parts, that’ll be my next restoration project. It needs a good washing and I’ll have to get bearings to replace the bushings...

After nosing around, you’re probably correct. The only thing that gives me pause is that my car has those little clear plastic plates, which I assume were where the batteries mounted that I have seen on the Eliminator 10. I guess they played with...
This is gonna be my first project of many I o ow this is a old bolink pan that’s about all I know any information would be great :)))) also I’d love to see other people’s pan chassis stock or custom I love them all
I must first by saying thank you to all of the particapents of this form I’ve been reading through some of the post over the last few weeks and was blow away with the amount of knowledge and commradery this form has to offer. With that My name is...

We (Factory Works) reproduce many flat parts. I don’t have that one drawn up currently but I have one to copy in my kit. If you don’t mind waiting, I can have it drawn in the next week or so. Pm me for more details.
This is the sort of thing I loved bitd. A total 180 from my B6 with it's never ending capacity for micro adjustments. A simple Bolink Legends chassis with Twinn-K wheels, Tekin esc and receiver and a modified hot rod Pinto body. Not sure if it would...

Hello. I'm new here. I hate to start off asking for help, but: you guys were recommended to me. I am restoring a Bolink Renegade from the early 80's. This was my first R/C car. Given to me by my father. This Christmas is the 30th anniversary of that...

Sharp looking 1/12 scale Bolink, thanks for sharing!
Just acquired this early Bolink! Very happy to have it and it's in very good shape! Rolling chassis for nitro or electric. I messaged Bob Rule and he says it was the first of their kits. More pics to follow

Curtis posted a few pics of his fathers cars on Facebook and one was this Mach 12. Still waiting to hear if he knows any of the history. I have a couple of those wings too
Does anyone here have a 1/12 Jerobee Cheetah? I have never seen one for sale and only came across a picture of one from a wanted ad. I understand Bolink also did 1/12 cheetah body as well. I am looking for pictures and information.

I found one on eBay!! I had to purchase a lot of 5 Jerobees and parts but... I got a original cheetah in the lot.
Was digging out more stuff and came across my sons old legend car. I remember these were fun to race.

Oooh that is one nice looking Nitro Indy Roadster. 8) I was just sayin' if I ever come across one of the coupe or sedan bodied ones on eBay in shelf queen condition, I'd throw some bids at it.
This one came in a box marked for a dirt tracker II but the tires are from the off road version and it had the proper dirt oval body for a dirt tacker. If it was ran, it wasn't ran much! Lots of dust and improper assembly but otherwise almost all...

Sadly Jeff already sold it on eBay
Even more sadly I didn't pick it up when I could have
Does anybody have a pictures of the original Bolink Digger? I'm intersted in the history of this early off-roader (not the later versions based on the Legends cars). From what little I've found, they seem very simple. How did they stack up against...
Last year, in a big lot of about 18 vehicles that I traded for, one was a VERY barebones Bolink Super T roller with a body. My son loved it at first sight - and I must say, I thought it was pretty cool too)...he's been begging every time he sees it...
this is my new built bolink digger. also have the orginal box and all the paper work. i think i will be painting this buggy either green or yellow with some white highlights like the box art. DSCN3332.jpg DSCN3333.jpg DSCN3334.jpg

I love the simplicity of these early buggies. How are they for durability?
Back then the buggies were pretty slow and the tracks didn't have many jumps so there were not many broken parts other than steering linkage.
hi everyone i have a question... what is this car worth.. i had it offered to me for what seems like a alright price but have no experience in them.. have seen the kit and everything is still in sealed bags and complete...
KGrHqJHJCE9SlMoRBPQVWw3g60_12.JPG Started new thread to post the pics of the nitro Invader that Came with the Box cover body that I picked up years ago. Sorry I robbed all of the radio gear and fuel tank and cleaned all of the Georgia clay off of...

Wow that's awesome! An old Cox .15, that would have been interesting on a light car. It was no powerhouse but power to weight should have been good. I'm betting they used a heatsink, clamp on style was popular back then
This is from a friend, its a Bolink 1/10th scale, but what is it? help please to id this car.
Need some TLC with fries to go with it.:lol:

Could try the RCCA scans. I think there was a review in there for the Road Pro...though typically pro10-classic.com would have the article for it scanned if there was. :?
One of my favorite RC resource sites. Lots of info on old 1/10 pan cars.
Hey guys had a couple hours to myself today made the modifications needed to turn my Bolink Digger into a respectable rc car (well as much as one could respect a Bolink Digger).
I took a page from GomachV's book and did some customs work to mount a...

Really cool idea, I saw it on eBay a few days ago. The only thing I'd nitpick would be the wheelbase looks a little too short for that body but it could be just an illusion.
Hello everyone,
I purchased a Bolink eliminator 12 cf-c (carpet version) kit from Steve Rule a few years back. Steve Rule is the son of the Bob Rule who started and owned Bolink. The kit is almost complete. It only need a T-plate, and the graphite...
Just got this early 1/12 car what is of the Jerobee chassis type. I think the first versions had a white or grey chassis where the black chassis might be newer. The former owner told me he got this car as either Jomac, Bolink or MRP.
Front and rear...
I just added a new car to my collection. From what I can see, it's pretty rare and has been the topic of discussion on this board before. The car is in excellent condition for it's age and I can't wait to start the rebuild. Here are some...
Hey all. So I have had this laying around for awhile and decide to make a dragster out of it. gomachv Hooked me up with a parts lot as my Drive shaft was toast on my chassis and he sent me some chassis parts as well.
I also have some new...

Years ago this was my 12th scale pan car that I used during my racing days. I bought this one from a hobby shop used but in excellent condition. I also bought a RC12L graphite pan car as well but was missing the shock to the rear pod. I loved how...
Hey ,had to show a pic or 2 of my pride and joy,I know its not an rc10 but I thought you guys would appreciate it. It (the body anyway for sure) is the actual car Bolink used in many catalogs & magazines ,airbrushed by motion graphics whom I had...
GE matched SCR cells? I've never seen anything like those.
I haven't either. And what's even weirder is their neon green and black look. Pretty progressive. 8) Great score by the way mach!
Hey fellers. I saw this guy for sale, and wanted to ask any BoLink fans: Is this a stock chassis? I don't remember that BoLink made aluminum chassis pan cars, but have limited knowledge on vintage BoLink stuff...

Okay, I thought I was missing something. I didn't remember an aluminum chassis. That hold-down looked interesting, but I couldn't figure it out myself. I love the wheels. Just another person who has an old RC that thinks it's worth way more than it...
Just picked it up and after a very quick cleaning...

Hmm, I have a partly assembled Eliminator MT in my basement, I'll have to finish it up sometime. It's really just a pan car with big tires and a gear reduction in the rear.
so this one has been sitting and caught my eye so as if i didn't have enough builds  The chassis is a factory lightweight carbon peice also the radio tray is a lighter fiberglass version. The wheels will be the standard rc12e wheels that...
