I used to race bitd ('84-'90) and after discovering this great group and many other vintage R/C groups a couple years back, I've managed to build up a collection of my old racing gear. Many heartfelt thanks to...

Got around to sourcing tires/wheels. After researching a bit here's a list of company's I drummed up that currently offer on-road pan car tires: Matrix Racing Tires; Xceed; GP Speed Tires; Contact RC Racing Tires; BSR Racing Tires; CRC (Calandra...
I came across a new sealed Composite Craft car, I don't know much about them and hard to get pictures of parts in a bag but it appears to be this model:
Kind of throwing me off since the pro10 site picture has aluminum motor plate and white front...

Excellent information, thank you guys
Any updates on this kit Jacobey? Did you build her?! Just curious....love the original Predator and Lynx.
After several years of searching, I finally managed to find one for a very reasonable price. Mis-titled on the Bay listing might have been reason it was overlooked until I came across it. With a BIN, it was mine :D ! Although, I have several other...
Wife: It's 3:30am...the movers come in 5 hours, have you packed the last of your stuff?!?!
Me: Uhhhhh....I'm going to need a few more minutes my love.
Seriously, BIG thank you to this forum/community for helping me source and reconnect with our...
Don't know much about this car and the photos on the instruction sheets are very hard to see. Hoping somebody has some info or good pics of a built car.

Still in a box?! But it needs to live, breathe and run again...lol! If I may be so bold: If still in a box, would you be willing to part with her?$
So on top of a few other projects i now have decided to open this up and build it. I found an article in my rcca mag that that they did, sorta like a best oval trc/composite craft car we can make and its really cool. Ill find and post article but i...

How's your progress so far? I would like to someday add one of them to my collection, but they are getting harder to find for a reasonable price. :?
Its built but no body yet, I forgot to upload finished pics. I wish I knew you were looking. I...
I search info on the rear damper additional on the pivot arm ball for the TRC LYNX 2
Like on the Andy Dobson car.
Pics or manual ?
Thanks for help.PRP

I think PRP means the damper disk as used with the RC10L. This was additional and seen very rarely. This is a RCCA scan I found some time ago what shows Andy Dobson´s Lynx II. He was using the damper disk but this is black so not easy to see.
The...
I'm having problems remembering the original Lynx I had. Now if memory serves me right, I had a rear axle just like the 10LSS. And if I remember right both axles were interchangeable. Someone please help me if I'm remembering this wrong and set me...

The axles and hubs were different. You might be able to fit a 10LSS axle on an Lynx since they both use 1/4 bearings but the offset of the wheels might not be right. Lynx used the same rear axle and left hub as Bolink cars. If you've got a wide car...

I just picked up a composite craft predator lynx in good shape. In cleaning it up my only real concern is that the servo which is frozen up( it's been sitting a long time) is glued to the chassis. Is there a known trick to remove this servo. Be it...

That's the problem, it was done so cleanly that I can't see what was used. I was mainly worried about acetone damaging the chassis. Also didn't want to do a snatch and twist. I'll have to get a better look at it tonight. Thanks for the tip.
New to the forum, found it while browsing the web. I used to race in the mid to late 80s on a local level, but once I got into full scale cars the RC stuff just sat. I was going through stuff in my father's basement the other day and found my old...

Restoring of my TRC Pro 10 will be in spring next year. No chance for this at the moment.
Hi, I know the TRC Pro 10 /12 had a Springs Tweak system , in addition to the original 3 O-rings tweak system. Anybody can share a close-up photo of this Springs Tweak System ? Tks for help !

The TRC Pro12 didn´t use this but the Pro10 car, also the Twister Cyclone.
Actually you just need longer screws at the outer o-rings then some larger OD springs like the C-Car or Corally frontsprings including springcups and the locknut above this.
Hi, I got a used TRC Lyxn , but the rear end pviot ball is pull out by the seller. It seems something is missing. Can anyone show me how this pviot ball be put back togther ? Tks for help !
I told a story here a long time ago about running a car in the street without shoes on, hitting a curb, knocking the caster out of whack on a beam axle, and then running over my own foot—cutting my toes apart in the process.
With all my focus lately on RC10s and their wonder, I forgot I had this. Bought it new way back when (late 80s-ish). Too bad it's just a bit too wide for that Trans Am body ... perhaps a RC10L or such will work.

yowza, Doug! I remember trying to run myself over when I first ran this car, but I never succeeded!
