I know there are holes in the list, but we can continue to build on this as we go. It's fairly comprehensive thus far, so hopefully this can help those of you who are looking for the general information on these motors. Feel free to offer...

Futaba used to offer these two spec lists for their older discontinued receivers and servos. Now they're only available through the Internet Archives site. That's a bit of a pain. So I decided to edit them a bit, and post them here for easier...

I see that R142JE is called out in the manual. Somehow I muat have gotten confused about the 152 superseding the 142. Thanks for the measurements.
20 does sound like a good starting point. Just making sure 23 isn't more common.
A while back I found a cool thread www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=239 started by Scr8p that linked to a timeline Novak had on their website. With Novak updates ending the timeline in 2009, their eventual closure, and wayback links as the only...

Interesting... The white signal wire is connected to the #5 on the IC.
But only by soldering across 2 separate copper pads. This is shown in your pic inside the red oval that I drew.
Anyone have a source for decent replacement endbells for stock and modified brushed motors? I have quite a few motors with extremely nice cans *rimshot* that have horrid endbells.

The last couple packs that I built used Tenergy NIMH cells. Then I put MCI decals on them.
Not perfect, but they don't look out of place either.
Is anyone familiar with SMT motors? The label says it's from France. They are Yokomo based motors.

I am trying to date my early 2PBKA and stumbled upon this thread. Since it has a R112JE rx I'd say it's the early 90's and probably 1991. Mine is earlier with a R102JE rx, which I assume is late 80's and probably 88/89.
