RC10T4 difference from RC10T6
I've got a T4 that I built a long time ago and I've thought about breaking out again and using however RC world has changed in a big way. Now tires use the setup that Traxxas was using, brush less has taken over, and we don't have to have crystals anymore. All these things were either just being tal...

Re: 4WD, 2 electric motor, RC: might seem strange.
Thanks for that however it couldn't be, mine had a Jeep body. Great RC but one day it went haywire and I couldn't get it to work again. It sucked because I really liked that one.

4WD, 2 electric motor, RC: might seem strange.
Ok this may not be just for the RC10 but this is the only location on the site that maybe can answer this. Back in the day I had a RC that was no where the caliber of the RC10 and was closer to a monster truck than a buggy however it had two electric motors. As far as I can tell, I have no idea beca...

RCs that we played with as children upgraded?
I think most of us like me played with Tyco or Nikko RC cars as kids which bridged into bigger and better things as we grew up. So I got to thinking about those RCs and wondered would it be possible to upgrade these to better equipment? They would have to be fully able to move in all directions (for...

Modern rims/tires for vintage RC10 or how I gave up on old tires
Ok I'm at my wits end with this and I would like any help. I missed the boat when they were making tires and rims for the RC10 a few years back. I know there are rims still being made by JConcepts but tires are the bane of my existence. I'm willing to upgrade to using modern 2.2 rims but again I've ...

Re: Kyosho Optima: keep it vintage or upgrade?
Thanks for the help, I think I'll do a bit of shopping around after I break it down and check for damage and other issues. I was thinking about value but really it's not a problem because it is used and looks used. If it was fresh out of the box then I would worry about value. The one issue that I k...

Kyosho Optima: keep it vintage or upgrade?
I've purchased a Kyosho Optima for a good price with some ware but no major damage that I can see. I know the shocks are shot and will need new tires however I'm kind of at an impasse on what else I should do. I know this was made before electronic speed control due to it uses a servo setup with wir...

Modern-ish Stealth in a RC10
Hello,
Well I've tried every angle of getting a stealth for my RC10 short of parting one together. So I wonder would it be possible to use a newer model RC10 TX or RC10 BX (X = enter model number) stealth transmission that will work with the classic RC10?

Hello,
Thanks for the help, I'm looking closely at the Castle Brushless Sidewinder 3 but not sure about the LiPo batteries yet, still checking.

Castle creations sidewinder 3 battery question
Hello, I want to thank everyone for the help that I've received here however I've got a question about the Sidewinder 3. From their website it states that only LiPos 2 and 3 can be used however I'm trying to find out if there is any kind of Ni-Mh batteries that can be used? I'm not really hot on the...

Wow things have changed and I have brushless questions
Hello, I just joined up here at RC10talk.com and have been out of the RC game for almost 10 years. I currently have a RC 10 T-4, B4.1, and HPI Racing Race 2 Sport (wanted a TC4 but this was for a good price so...). Anyway my T4 is my first RC and I've got much older ECS equipment, I think its a Nova...
