RC10L gearing question
Will a 64 pitch 115 tooth spur and a 27T pinion fit an original RC10L with a modern brushless motor? I just put the motor in and it doesn't slide all the way back to the ends of the slots due to the bottom T-bar and metal mount. It's really close. I can't pull it apart quite yet to test as I don't h...

Re: R12L Still Competitive?
Buy modern. The early 90s cars have fixed camber and are really hard on front tires. And the performance ceiling is much lower. I say this as a driver of an early 90s RC10L. (Same design, just upsized.)

Re: RC10L - Looking for Parts
One more question, anyone know where to get a replacement chassis? I'm striking out on all the usual places. I want to change to a carbon chassis and add a real servo mount. Check with the guru GoMachV on this forum. He has a shop in the marketplace. He might be able to help you out with a chassis ...

Re: RC10L - Looking for Parts
Thanks all! I had it at the track today, the electronics were dead so i had to replace the ESC and motor. I put a 13.5 in it due to it being the only one at the hobby shop. Holy crap is it fast even with NMh batteries in it. Turned down the speed as low as I could on the radio and still could barely...

Re: RC10L - Looking for Parts
The one other thing I don't know how to search for is tall rear body mounts for GT/oval bodies. And the wide front bumper. Although I may end up just making a new one

Re: RC10L - Looking for Parts
EBay always has parts, though not usually at prices one is hoping to pay. Most current pan car style wheels/tires should work; you just may need to shim the front wheels if you continue using the e-clip axles. You can even use the current Legend style "spec" tires from RJ Speed if ...

RC10L - Looking for Parts
A local track just started up for carpet oval. My old 1991 RC10L needs some exercise. But I want to have some spares on hand. I found a source a few years ago for the T bar, and front wheel upright blocks(not the right word for it, but the block that had the arms that the hubs attached to. Found the...
