Well I pulled the trigger on the AE axle and bearing the AE guy said would work. Now I just have to wait for it to arrive later this week. Ok well, I managed to break the rear axle on my RC10L while cleaning it. It sheared off right behind the backing plate on the axle... Now to the DS, is it really that simple of plug and play the SC10 front axles into the DS steering blocks or does it take all of the SC10 parts to make the conversion to hex?

Thanks Matt... I've looked at foams but what I've seen for the fronts are hex or don't have slots in them for bearings.
I agree it's not really worth the effort to glue new foams.
Could you point me somewhere for the fronts that would work?
