Basher67's collection pics
This was my regular runner until last year when I decided to clean her up and retire her to the shelf.---at least for now. Not a re-re. A-stamp pan, 6 gear trans. I believe it's a cadillac car. Freshened it up with a new proline body and decals and put the original cadillac reedy motor back in. Hopi...

Re: RC10GT Brushless Conversion Performance Review
I would check with TBG (team blue groove) out of Canada. They reproduce a ton of out of production bodies. I have used many of their bodies and have always been very happy with the quality. They have an Ebay store with an impressive selection of bodies available. The body you see here on mine is a v...

RC10GT Brushless Conversion Performance Review
I thought I would share my experience building, track testing, and bashing my RC10GT brushless conversion. I've seen some really nice builds doing these conversions but could never find a whole lot about the end result as far as performance and is it worth the time/expense for what you have when you...

Re: Help with b5m shock length
Got an update for you on the shocks. I received the integy piggyback shocks and was more than a little pleased. They are over-the-top cool. The piggyback reservoirs are not exactly scale but they look badass. The machine work and finish are excellent. I dont know how they will perform, but from a vi...

Re: Help with b5m shock length
I'm not sure how to post a link. I'll see if I can get the wife to help me with that. lol They were really nice looking and really cheap (which scares me a little). I order a set of shocks off of ebay that were listed as GMAXX brand big bore shocks with 4 mm shafts for RC10 1/10. They arrived and lo...

Re: Help with b5m shock length
I have lots of different versions of associated "RC10 gold pan" shocks. I like them and they're great shocks, don't get me wrong, but I'm looking to go a little outside the box on this build. I decided to go with some Integy shocks with the piggyback reservoir for a B5m. The fronts are clo...

Help with b5m shock length
Looking at options for upgrading the shocks on one of my rc10's. There are some really nice shocks out there for the b5m but I'm having a hard time finding the eye-to-eye length info. Has anyone used more modern buggy shocks on the original rc10's? Are any particular models more compatible or closer...

Re: Nichimo Exceed Pro 443
That's a great ad showing all the Nichimo models. I have to admit, until I came across this one, I'd never seen or heard of one before. I couldn't pass it up for $50 especially with the box. I don't think I'll do a fresh body for this car. I kinda dig the "as raced" patina on this one. I t...

When I look at it, all I can think about, is I'm 13 again with my checkered slip-on vans and my T&C Surf Designs shirt. Oh, the memories

Re: Nichimo Exceed Pro 443
The design on these cars is odd in my opinion. The center diff design seems ahead of it's time and while some of the chassis layout seems well thought out, some of it looks like an afterthought. It looks like they tried to make their version of a hotshot but better. They may have been more successfu...

Re: Traxxas Hawk Find
Thanks. Dish soap, warm water and toothbrushes from the dollar store can work wonders. Leaning over the kitchen sink for an hour sucks but I was happy with the outcome. I kept the paint job simple so as not to deter from the original graphics. I've got so many projects that are sitting around waitin...

Nichimo Exceed Pro 443
Thought I'd share a pic of one of my recent finds. It's in good "played with" condition. The rear servo saver was broke but I just found one on ebay. Can't wait 'till it arrives so I can drive this thing. 4 wheel steering was fun on the Clodbuster. It has to add to the fun factor on a bugg...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
I think you're right since the odd length ones don't have countersunk holes like the others. Found some other parts that go with them now that I know what car it's from. Thanks for the help.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
I should have looked more carefully. I guess I have sets of left and right chassis plates. Any idea why a couple are longer than the others?
