Re: How Blinged Is Your YZ10
All the blue trinkets are from Team Suzuki which include the motor mount...I think. The red wheel nuts are from Team CSO. I also have a purple motor mount that I believe is a Trinity upgrade part. The upgrade that made the most difference were: -Adding the camber plate to get the lowest camber gain ...

Re: Yokomo Pavidis?
Hello
The front and rear arms should have lightened sections.
I had one of these I recently sold. I can add some high res pictures of the front and rear arms for reference if that is something you all want to see:)
Enjoy the sweet car!

Re: Yokomo Pavidis?
Hello Depends on what you want to do... If you want to to make a stunning shelf queen keep it. If you plan on running it I would sell that one and find something with a few more miles on it and enjoy that. At one time I had 4 YZ10 cars (1x Mint 94, 2x Runner 94 and 1 Runner Pavidis WCS). I don't pla...

Hello All
By chance does anyone know where I could locate some ZD-422 rear 94 YZ10 dogbones (or similar...)? If you have extras and would be willing to part with one set (Im good with used but in decent shape).
Thanks!

Re: Alternate Ball Link Set For YZ10
Yes, with the links from the 2742 bag are too short so they may not be enough treads in them ... For the sake of keeping the flow of the post I did not edit my original post to recommend a different parts bag. I went to my LHS today and found an even better bag of rod ends. Traxxas 1942 for 7 dollar...

Alternate Ball Link Set For YZ10
Hello All My runner had the original links and they were worn and oh so sloppy. I was at my LHS and found a Traxxas 2742X kit that has short links and balls for about 4 bucks. (Don't use these...see my next post) I installed them on my 94 YZ10 on the front and rear. I feel that I am on the edge rega...

Re: 1994 Yokomo YZ-10 Box Stock Restoration
Do you plan on running this car? I am having a blast running mine, very durable and surprisingly fast with a 10.5T brushless setup (novak edge esc and a Novak 10.5T in one car and a Tekin 10.5 Gen 3 in the other). I have the same 10T brushless setup in a mostly std 94 (has TCS and upgraded steering ...

Re: YZ10 Works 92' aka SuperDogFighter
Nice car.
I just updated my Pavidis shock and ball diff settings and added a 10.5t novak brushless setup just like my other runner.
Car drives much better now. Thus car is definitely capable enough for modern tracks and electronics (not sure about the mod stuff though).

Re: 1994 Yokomo YZ-10 Box Stock Restoration
contact this guy you ebay... gonracing-rc He sells many box art bodys...and i believe they cost about 100 bucks. Not sure what he would charge if you sourced the body. Id probably keep you original and just buy a fully painted body from him...will look very similar to the box art. I had 2 of those b...

Re: "Doughnuts" With 94 Yokomo YZ10 Runner
Hello
The car is very strong, I was more worried about the furniture tough my kids beat in it like a drum anyways.
It it was a XX4 that impact probably would have caused damage...
But that car is still running so sweet...the 94 YZ10 is a fantastic machine.

Btw, consider some new tires.
I use Banditos and Dirt Webs. I may also try soft proline primes since I mostly run on a touring car track...

Re: Works 94 restoration project
Nice car and will clean up well. It looks very stock. Usually you see a TCS, associated shocks, upgrade turn buckles, and the carbon steering rack upgrade installed, yours has the stock stuff. If you plan on running brushless you should consider a TCS...hard to find though. 10.5t brushless is more t...

Re: Brushless Motor in 870C
I run a 10.5 in my 94 YZ10 and my diff is holding up but I have a slipper installed. I have to be a little mindful with the throttle to not kill the slipper but overall I drive the car pretty hard. My biggest issue was belts but I use are on poly belt brand belts for the rear belts and haven't had i...
