Morning all, trying to figure out what this truck or buggy is. Hours of googling and I’m not seeing anything with that front shock setup and chassis bracing.

Anybody have any idea?

So buggy is still sitting as i'm stumped on the slipper assembly. 1 bearing has the right ID for the top shaft but the wrong OD for the slipper/spur combo. Ok, so new spur needed then because this ones stripped. Compared pics to the 25yr thread and I must have been drinking because I assembled the slipper wrong with the spur between the two metal halves of the diff like I would my crawler. I priced converting to the b series setup but at current prices...

All bearings replaced (minus wheels as they've not arrived yet, rebuilt shocks, rebuilt trans (but apparently my ball diff setup is toast -missing a few balls on the hub screw) so new ball diff kit ordered. Threw in a temporary axial ae2 and titan 12t as well as the old futaba servo. Everything look...

Ordered a set of classic wheels, tires, servo mount, bearings, and a body. Also a banggood racerstar 3650kv brushless setup.

Thanks guys. I've been looking at the axle conversions. Was hoping I could get away without it, but I guess I can't. I'll order a set as well as some rere wheels and tires. Wanting the classic knobbies for the look more than the performance .

Thanks! Bearings ordered. Made progress on the rebuild. Took the car apart and gave all the parts a good scrubbing. Setup the new turnbuckle links and rebuilt the shocks.
