Re: Bagged OEM parts organization
I have my NIB stash on an excel spreadsheet. It is by part number. In the closet, I have them in boxes by number as well. Associated did a pretty good job of keeping the item numbers clumped by area of the car, 61XX - body, 62XX - Front suspension, 63xx - Chassis and rear suspension, etc. So it is p...

Re: Re-Re vs Vintage
The front arms are different and use a different ball cup. Those are usually worn on the vintage rides and are not interchangeable with the retention with having to change the arms also So only the arms are different or is the whole front end slightly different? Sounds like the suspension may be di...

Re: Fine Design Patriot Drag Truck info needed
I guess I have been in some hole underground for some time now. I had no clue drag racing was back!!! I mean, I 1/4 mile raced until they closed down Englishtown mid-January 2018. Now that I am moving to NC I'll be able to 1/4 race again with 5 drag strips near my new home (within an hour drive)! w...

Re: Brat Steering
I've got a Blackfoot carcass out in the garage. I stumbled upon it while looking for something else. I might just see if the steering rods (ends) fit the ballstuds on the Brat knuckles. Like I said before, I will offer it up again, just let me know what parts you need. I am sure I have them in the ...

Re: Re-Re vs Vintage
I am not as interested in the "collector" aspect for myself. I love vintage but like to run them. I run my SWB Wild Willy, and it makes collectors "cringe", but, they were made to run IMHO.. lol.. I used to have a Super Champ back in the 80s, but sold it and miss it. Always love...

Re: Brat Steering
Howdy, Daughter is 4 now and I want to get the Brat going for her. It's the re-re. Still have the unpainted lexan body. Might go hot pink. Anyway......IIRC, when I stashed it away, there were some missing steering parts/linkages. Namely the servo saver and the "tie rods" Does anyone have ...

Re: Tamiya SRB diff #54897
There's one on ebay of the last run with a bid of £125.99 on it right now  I guess someone didn't get the memo ! I swear you can't gauge "worth" anymore from eBay auctions. Sometimes they go super high - insanity!!! Sometimes they go way too low - WTH?!?! I am afraid of listing any...

Re: Oldbie/Newbie
Thanks guys. My oldest son is 36 years old, and I got my Wild Willy when he was a couple months old. He plans to take the Wild Willy and pass it down to his son some day with the stories. All my kids grew up with this thing and it's a part of the family, and will never be for sale, although I do ha...

Re: Help identifying a long lost magazine ad
That's not a stock body.
Not a Renegade or a Viper body.
I remember those bodies but I forget the name of the body style.
Can anyone tell me what the name of that body style is?

I am enjoying Toolman's early RC10 find. Yes it is modded, but it is also nostalgic (and I am partial to RC10s - my absolute favorites).
Hopefully he can get more votes!!
