I am not entirely certain when Hot Trick went out of business, but if they were not done by 89, they were certainly on their way out. I have yet to get any definitive information on the company's history, with the exception of that which I could cull from the couple catalogs I have. I know that Bill...

Great stuff FlyinGN......I was never a racer, so I love to hear stories from those who did. Just to give an idea of what this stuff sold for retail, here are some prices for the actual complete kit, which would be all of the Hot Trick parts needed to make the conversion, you simply stripped the runn...

Cool looking conversion. I think that is the first one I have actually seen, with the Red Prince rear end and the RC10 front end. I like the Losi steering cranks, but if you wanted even more red, watch for the Hot Trick ones, even though they would obviously pale in quality to the ones already on th...

Hot Trick Restoration
A little sneak peek for those who like the Hot Trick Stuff: What you are looking at, is a mangled up RC10 aluminum oval chassis, that I am putting back together. When I got it, the guy who had it, was making it into a nitro runner, but I pretty much ripped everything off when I got it, and started o...

I also have one of these: http://www.rc10talk.com/museum/albums/userpics/10127/yoko_doggie.jpg Its dirty and nasty in the pic, but it cleaned up pre...

Quarter Flash Arms......Anybody Have Them??
Hey guys, Just wondered if anybody has a set of arms made by Quarter Flash, for the RC10 way back when? I had one set, nip, which I traded to a friend in Australia. They were the most interesting things, being that the hinge pins were actually supported by ball bearings. They were quite pricey as we...

Hey guys, One thing to check.........I absolutely use the *exclude these words* function, under the advaned searches, and it works phenomenally well. However, there were times, where I just bypassed the advanced searches auctions, and used for instance: RC10 -b3 b4 t3 t4 Of course I did this to elim...

You are too kind Jay! Certainly my favorite hop ups of all time, and I am still finding stuff here and there, that I did not even know they produced. The catalogs seem to be non-existent, so alot of my knowledge is limited to that information that is in the one and only actual catalog I own, and the...

Jay, here is the one I got:

It was actually on sale when I got it, hence the price discrepancy.

Hey gang, I can tellyou my secret weapon- a vibratory tumbler. I got mine off Eastwood, and it is nothing more than a bowl that sits on a vibrating pedestal. You take your parts, drop them in the bowl, then you take your tumbling medium- (if you buy the tumbler from them, it comes with a bag of thes...

Trackmaster RC10 Tranny- What Was It Best Used For?
Hey everybody,
I have this cool old direct drive type tranny, for the RC10. I think it is Trackmaster, but not 100% certain.
Getting to my question: What exactly was this type of tranny best used for? And why? Thanks for any help.

Yeah, there may be other things that show up again on ebay, (i.e. the 4 X 4 RC10 conversion kits, etc.) but the problem is, the same guy will bid on that one as well, and continue to do so, until he or she figures that they have enough now. Cant tell you how many times I have just felt like taking t...
