Re: for those not on Facebook... injection molded parts rolling out
Not sure about those places but team KNK carries the FanRc molded parts and they are good people (and the prices are quite affordable!) https://teamknkhardware.com/668-fan-rc Not any more. I wonder what happened. Who is carrying FanRC RC10 parts now? EDIT: Okay, I found it. That link doesn't work. ...

Re: Questions about the new RC10 re-release for December 2024
Has a been a long long time since I raced RC10's..............was purely a stock guy. Just bought the Team car and realizing that spare parts are not available, I am interested in buying MIP CVD set for this one. I just do not know which one of the 2 that MIP makes fits this car. I would sure apprec...

Re: Tamiya Bruiser ends again?
I'm glad i bought 2 of these plus spare parts for a complete rebuild if needed. I got 1 from RCMart back when they were selling for less than 500.00 and the 2nd one from a seller in LA that didn't realize he had to build it. Amazing how many have probably sold though. I have no intention of selling ...

Re: Ultima LWB
Doug I don't know about "far from perfect" That looks as fine as frogs hair split three ways. Another great XLR8 build! Chuck hahaha.... Thank you Chuck -- spoken like a true Texan. The only benefit I can find for using a nearly 20 year old Olympus digital camera with only...

Re: Ultima 2019
Thank you for the quick reply.
The Optima and Tomahawk have less clearance than i anticipated.
3 -5,000 mah packs in hard case had me opening the cases and removing the inner foam protection and then trim the hard case to gain 3mm.
The Ultima i just ordered

Hotshot suspension
Starting to put one of these together. Mainly because it was the first RC off road I built back when it came out. Shied away from it later because there were no parts available. You had to buy a whole kit to keep the suspension arms that seemed to go away quickly due to the goofy front shock geometr...

Re: Want to try brushless
Additionally with punch and timing you can have a soft start that's nice for old gears and a load of timing and turbo to give you silly fast , that's before you start changing pinions , tuning the breaks to be progressive and not lock up the wheels is also great . The 17.5t motors are a little more...

You could also use a longer screw in that hole if parts are not available. 2mm longer will work.

Re: Ultima LWB
Thanks for the encouragement everyone! The traditional "pile of parts" photo. Pile o parts.JPG Anyway, enough shelfers, this one's gonna be a runner. It will get dirty, scratched, beat up, and maybe even broken but it's definitely not going on the shelf. LOL....mmmmkay I ran out of ...
