Re: "Just Released MIP 4 x 400 4WD Kit" REvitalizing a long term WIP
jwscab thanks for the note...I have tried all the connection combos and no luck. Frustrated because I dont have any other equipment with G style old connectors.... so it's hard to isolate each component. I'll try some adapters just to test and see what happens.

"Just Released MIP 4 x 400 4WD Kit" REvitalizing a long term WIP
Hi Everyone. I am picking up this project again after 7 years (one could argue it's been in progress for 17 years but that's another story!). This build has been through a lot of changes over the years but I think I am now close to a solid final (?) version. My goal is to get something as close to t...

Re: Cantilever shock geometry on my Superchamp SRB mod
Thank You! I appreciate the pics and your time. Honestly this is really just a "cool parts" shelf build, but for runners I do agree to build to win...or at least for function. I have a couple roll bar ideas, I am going start w/a test fit of an RC10 parma version, then back track into somet...

Re: Cantilever shock geometry on my Superchamp SRB mod
Thank you for the comments and direction. The shapeways build definitely provided inspiration. The shock itself as mounted is working fine.
I'll incorporate a sway bar and report back.
I appreciate this community.

Cantilever shock geometry on my Superchamp SRB mod
Hi ...I'm seeking some help on the geometry of this shock set up. Doing a test fit, I have nice spring and compression in the shock itself, but the way I have it, the set up basically pivots left side to right side, that is, it doesnt lift the chassis to provide suspension. I dont have the instructi...

Bearing work-around for mixed size: 5mm ID X 3/8" OD
I am trying to use a Tamiya 5mm axle and wheel set up with a Team Associated (RC10) 3/8" rear wheel bearing carrier. The Tamiya axle diam is 5mm, but the hub uses two 3/8" flanged bearings (1 inside and 1 outside) Reason is to wanting to use SRB stock rears on an RC10 style tub. I contacte...

AYK 566B Help Needed w RB16 Ball Joint
95% finished with a resto, just need the front ball joints part RB16...tried to form something in the interim but having issues...basically need a typical ball join that gets threaded through the suspension mount, where the ball itself has a hole that will allow a 2.6mm socket head screw to be inser...

Re: SCAN REQUEST: AYK Sidewinder/Gator (and Boxer)
I have the Sidewinder manual in my NIB kit, and I was able to scan the exploded parts view http://riggenho.com/AYKSidewinder.htm with a commercial scanner some time ago. I'd be happy to scan the rest of the manual but it's a larger size than normal for my scanner bed so if I scan from home, edges ma...
