Re: TQ10 need some help?
I figured I might as well put some later shock towers on since the originals are nice and yellowed. Besides, it's mine and I had the parts. The battery brace was put on for the hell of it to see how it looked. It's not staying on there. I originally planned to dye it all black, but wanted to wait an...

Stalkers are sweet. They know where you are going before you do. How cool is that?

Re: TQ10 need some help?
My main intention was to put it back to stock as much as possible. I would have preferred all white parts, but I had the black ones on hand. All I have left to put on is the caster blocks(all I have are 5*), rear arm mounts, and to dye the trans case black(might end up leaving it red). Right now it ...

TQ10 need some help?
Since I keep getting told to shelf my TQ10, I have decided to restore it to stock as much as possible. Here's the issue I have at the moment. All the white parts are currently dyed orange/red. No way to change that. I have a set of arms in white(short fronts) and black with the long fronts. I have a...

PB Sizzler Pro-10
I've had this old car sitting around for years and figured I might as well show it off. It has never seen the track and was recently damaged in a recent move. Which I realized as I set it on the ground and discovered the axle has a stress fracture at the right rear hub. Anyone have an axle? Will tra...

I knew that. It was just crude in comparison to others available at the time. I'd rather use the Futaba box radio with the wheel(slot car mod of course).

Re: some people should not be allowed to have nice stuff
Go to your LHS and look on the train section for Woodland Scenics stuff. They make a foam cutter cutting foam for train layouts. Let it warm up and gently pull it beneath the servo. Or you could rig one up with a 12V battery and some wire. I'd prefer the woodland scenics one if I didn't already have...

Re: Vintage electronics
I have gearsets for all the servos I listed in my stash at home. I also have gearsets for those crappy Aristocraft servos. Also the old Expert and World Engines servos.

Re: some people should not be allowed to have nice stuff
Try working as a mechanic. I can't describe some of the stuff I've seen and repaired. Let alone been asked to repair. Once I put a sweet looking 50's Chevy truck on the rack for some maintanance and low and behold the frame was welded in about five spots with fence pipe holding it together. By the t...

Re: Vintage electronics
The S28 and S128 are one in the same. Adam I have one if you need one. You know where to reach me at. The S28 has more torque than the S148. S28 has 48oz/in tq and S128 has 41oz/in tq.

Correct you are Erich. I forgot all about that important piece of information.
