How difficult and costly is it to get an OG (1995ish vintage) NIB Worlds Car? I see one on ebay going for $1500. Is that the going rate or are they obtainable for less?

About a mile and a half up the road from my house is the Dirt Runners track at the Jefferson Township HS. I've yet to go to crispy.

The trans is definitely concerning. The balls in the diff don't roll smoothly and everything is super tight in the case. Is the rear bulkhead thinner? I don't remember the rear battery retention area being so flimsy. Also don't remember the motor plate blocking the slots at the rear of the chassis. ...
