Re: wtcc‘s Tamiya Boomerang

Tomorrow I want to drive the Boomerang for the first time. The rerelease has an upper dustcover. Unfortunately if you want to use it, you cannot use the driver figure :? Luckily I had another one of the Kumamon buggy Z-parts left. I painted and glued it to the dust cover: https://abload.de/img/3b95c...

Re: wtcc‘s Tamiya Boomerang

If you recall the picture of the Taiyo Jet Fighter, you can see that it looks different from the Boomerang. Not only the colour, but also other changes give its appearance a more dynamic and faster look. Three things are standing out. 1. The location of the rear wing: The jet fighter has the wing mo...

wtcc‘s Tamiya Boomerang

Here now the story of my Tamiya Boomerang or how Tamiya influenced my childhood: Cars were always my favourite toy. When my father bought his first RC car 1989 (Tamiya Thunder Shot for 370 DM ~ 200Us$ at that time), it was apparent, that I need one, too  So not long after my parents had to give...

Re: wtcc's RC10 T2 #7036

Thanks :D I could source some parts and wanted to go for another set of tires and wheels. The tires were not easy, but I found the same I got on it. But wheels seem to be a pain to find. ProLine has cancelled its production. Now I am unsure what will fit this truck. Do you have a thread here where I...

wtcc's RC10 T2 #7036

Today I pulled out my T2 that I bought in '96 after working and saving a long time as a teen. And that is my one and all jewel RC car. It hasn't been run a lot. The last time was in 2009. Since then it has a kind of shelf queen status. Out of curiosity I checked what parts I have for it and was surp...

Another german guy ...

Hello, my name is Kevin. I am mostly reading and sharing my stuff on RCtech and just recently discovered this forum by watching a Youtube video of a guy who showed of his heavily tuned Tamiya HotShot. My father and I got the "virus" in the late 80s, starting with Tamiya ThunderShot and Tai...
