What wheels are they ?
Hi,
Both the dished and the spoked wheels are from JCRacing in the UK.
I use his wheels on all my runners and they are great.
John has a lot of nice parts for our vintage runners.
It took some searching, but I finally found a body with the correct look. A guy in France had this Peugeot 905 body.
Now painted and mounted on the sp10v.
I placed an order from Fibre-Lyte for a couple of towers and braces for some ongoing projects. Took the opportunity to have them cut the chassis sides in carbon, pricing was very reasonable. 20250503_143427.jpg The chassis rigidity compared to the 3D-printed sides is massive. The 3D-printed versions...
Very nice!
I just love how you can mix and match so many variants of the Jrx platform.
Looking forward to seeing this highly tricked out Junior finished!
I would normally increase the rear tie rod length to get more rotation, but I'm limited by the 2 hole CR hub carriers. If you get the rear hubs from a XX CR Kinwald you get a third outer hole for the tie rod. 20250112_142310.jpg Unfortunately they used the same part number as the CR hubs (A-2126), ...
I'm curious to know how these handle compared to the Pro Se and later XX. anyone driven one yet? I have! :D 20250412_191357.jpg 20250412_191433.jpg 20250412_191458.jpg 20250412_192050.jpg I used the replica steering for my first run. Ran into clearance issues that limited me to 50% of steering lock...
I realised that I didn't have a period correct Trinity in my collection. Back in 91 I was running stock motors. So I turned to a guy in the UK from whom I got several nice Trinity motors. He came back with this picture. received_282531700388632.jpeg The motor on the right is an actual Chris Doseck p...
Swedish post was busy today. One flat package of decals from MCI. And finally the motorplates I need to get on with some of my builds. Have been looking for a while, but they are usually to pricey. 20250404_191000.jpg Same seller also had more that I needed, so with combined shipping it turned out o...
Time for an update. The rubber damper caps are totally finished. They are swollen, brittle and torn. Fortunately my brother had new ones in a bag, which he kindly gave to me. :) 20250316_100808.jpg Opened up my Corally 300 modified and found it to be in very good condition. Some of the green paint o...
These Jammin wing cam locs are some uber rare pieces. I think they would be a great fit for this build. However, I'm not sure if I can make myself open them. They are my only pair. Now I finally know what they are! I got a used set in a parts lot I got a long time ago. Never seen white ones anywher...
What I expected: sidor.JPG What I got: 20250301_144708.jpg This is not going to be a direct replica. More inspiration taken from the looks of Jacks car. The carbon chassis has Pro SE shape and I´m using the exising holes, so the central support is very different from the original. Currently the ladd...
So, what do you do when you´ve torn down two complete Jrx-chassis cars to get the best parts into a -91 worlds replica and is left with a lot of parts. You also have a box full of new parts. 20250301_143443.jpg On top of that, you´ve got an unused carbon “hybrid” chassis from the GP3D -91 words kit ...
